I think the President made his position known when he made the comment that one should err on the side of life. :)

President Bush is knowledgeable enough that I believe he knows that if he inserted himself forcefully, that he will find himself in an impeachable position. This poll mentioned on FOX suggests that if he were to overexert his authority, he will find himself in the minority view.

Terri's father was on TV for ten days before the feeding tube was pulled repeatedly stating that she was being given morphine to weaken her in advance so she would not survice as long as last time so any belated rescue attempt would fail.

Most likely Lasix to dehydrate her as well.
