EveningStar...you know, you brought something up that I had been thinking about, just never did mention...and that was about the moderating...what really got me upset, was seeing Michaels Shiavos children being called 'bastards'...that really upset me...because, it was obvious, altho the poster doing the name calling, said he was justified because he used that word in the dictionary sense, did that poster really think we are all that dumb?...this poster was obviously getting a cheap thrill out of using that word...sick, to have a laugh, at a childs expense...all knew that Michael Shiavos children were born out of wedlock, it did not have to be necessary to use such words...and I thought using such words, were not allowed on FR...

You can laugh all you want to, but the guy who started the Christian faith said that if you refuse to FEED the hungry or GIVE DRINK to the thirsty then you denied food and water to Jesus Himself.

So, YES, if you are starving someone to death and dehydrating that same person then you are doing it to Jesus Christ. That's what He said and I believe Him.

Even if you think we're all nuts or something, it isn't funny to laugh at someone dying from dehydration. My mother died in the hospital after a long bout with cancer. One of the things she suffered from the most was dehydration. Her lips cracked and bled and her hands shriveled up. We kept having her suck on ice chips. She would say, "I'm thirsty"
To think that someone is going to deliberately put their loved one through this makes me sick.

What kind of monsters are we to let this happen? I wish I was down there right now and you would see some serious civil disobedience! No, I wouldn't kill anyone, so don't even go there. But as a former child of the 60's, I know a little something something and I would not be one bit afraid to use it.

I'm sure that sounds nuts to you. But, if you believe for one moment that Terri is a real live human being then how can one logically stand by and let the cops bust people for trying to give her a drink of water(!!!!!!)What kind of scum have we become? BigDom and I are fine...he goes on annual leave on April 15, we will tour around in our new RV, going up to the Peninsula of Washington and have a good time...then we return after two weeks, and BigDom returns to work for one day...and then he retires...Hooray...

We will spend the rest of this year puttering around the house, doing a few things that need getting done...

Then in January of next year, we will close up the house, jump into the RV, and drive and tour, and just be lazy, retired folk....BigDom plans to visit every Microbrewery in Washington, Oregon, and Washington, before we head east...good grief, we may be stuck out west for a few years, taking brewery tours, and sampling beer...

I told BigDom we should get a bumper sticker made up, something like "Beware, Senior Beer Tasters on Board"...BigDom says we will probably get arrested...

But we do plan to drive and drive and see all there is out there to see, returning home, only here and there, when we are a little tired of being on the road...
