Big time fist throwing. Fans, players and more. Any thoughts ?
As I previously said, was only commenting on the "how" issue. On second thought though, maybe he agitated those who paid to see the game AND those that paid to see a fight.
The worst part was the chair throwing.

I agree with you as well, a fan on the floor, he deserves to take a pounding, but fans in the stands (who wasn't even the one who threw the cup) doesn't.

That's bullshit(both here and Owens).
While the main instigator fans were white, there was also later on a couple of black fans teaming up with the white fans.
The only color that was being targeted was Pacer colors.

Jackson was a jerk, and Artest had the wrong guy, but all he did was push the wrong guy, he didn't punch him. The ACTUAL guilty party then punched Artest from behind in the head. And Fred Jones, who wasn't hitting anyone got grabbed by some HUGE DUDE who just started throwing punches on him.
Then a ref gets hit in the HEAD WITH A BOTTLE! Where is THAT in your analysis? What did the ref do to get a bottle thrown at his head?! Were the Detroit scum "fighting back" against the refs too?
I was fortunate to grow up with a minor league hockey team in my city and I got to witness a player-fan brawl where the player tried to climb over the glass. Great childhood memory.
Yeah. Disband the NBA and send the players packing. The whole enterprise is about as above board and well run as professional boxing.

Good thing you're not a soccer fan, but then soccer leagues aren't dominated by black players, so you'd probably not recommend that course of action.
