Jurors turn focus to Scott Peterson's fishing boat
REDWOOD CITY, Calif. Jurors in Scott Peterson's capital murder trial want to see the boat the fertilizer salesman allegedly used to dump his wife's body in the San Francisco Bay, according to two sources close to the case.
The panel wrote a note to Judge Alfred Delucchi Friday requesting an inspection of the 14-foot aluminum Gamefisher Peterson took out on the bay Dec. 24, 2002, the day he reported his wife, Laci, missing.
The sources confirmed to Court TV that the boat will be brought to the courthouse and jurors will see it Monday.
The request to see the boat came as the panel completed a third day of deliberations without reaching a verdict. The six men and six women have weighed evidence for nearly 19 hours. They will spend the weekend sequestered at a hotel, but they are not permitted to discuss the case until they return to the jury room at about 8 a.m. Monday.
Story continues ........
Odd. Thought the SBR was for the "bad kids"

Hearing explores possible Peterson juror misconduct
When asked last night on LKL if he was in communication with juror #6, Falconer hesitated a couple seconds before saying "no". Then he continued like he wanted to qualify that "no", but someone broke in and interrupted him.
I didn't know that. When in closing arguments? Prosecutors first or his rebuttal?
Jackie, how can you tell when a thread has been moved to the SBR?
I just looked under topics and nothing is listed. Is that how you know?
CourtTV just reported that Gearloose and the Peterson's are arriving. Peterson's have not been present during the diliberation proceedings.
Standing by...
Rochas enroute to court...
Something's up......stay tuned
Dear God, Please don't let this be bad news; justice needs to be served here.
Lawyers in chambers... Something's coming down
Uh oh
I think it's an "uh oh" anyway.
Thanks for the update.
Pinging the usual suspects....
Now hearing that Scott's parents are in the courtroom and the Rochas are enroute. Sounds like a mistrial (hearing earlier about a juror's misconduct). Sure wish it was a verdict and some on CTV are not ruling that out yet. All agree that it's something very big coming down.
Juror dismissal and replacement?
Court TV reporting extended family like Sharon Rocha's sister and family arriving.
It IS possible there is a verdict (but with the hoopla surrounding whispers of jury misconduct I'm not hopeful).
Victim advocates present, as well.
Now joined by extended family members as well as victim advocates and police. Could we have a verdict here?
Who forces you to these threads?
Drum roll............
Gees, this is more nerve wracking than last week at 6:30! Let's just pray it's a verdict.
