ELIZABETH EDWARDS ON ABC RADIO: "She's overreacted to this and treated it as if it's shameful to have this discussion. I think that's a very sad state of affairs… I think that it indicates a certain degree of shame with respect to her daughter's sexual preferences… It makes me really sad that that's Lynne's response."
LYNNE CHENEY AT POST-DEBATE RALLY: "The only thing I could conclude is that this is not a good man. This is not a good man. And, of course, I'm speaking as a mom. And a pretty indignant one. This is not a good man. What a cheap and tawdry political trick."

Two weeks at a fat farm is not going to do much to ameliorate obesity. Elizabeth Edwards would need at least six months.

these libs will stoop to the belly of the snake. Lynn Cheney loves her daughter and is hardly ashamed. She is with them at RNC and many other rally's. I feel bad for the daughter, she has to feel that she has caused her family distress. I do not agree that people are born gay. The mother of my grandson said she was and now she isn't so it is a life style they choose.

Follow the elegant example of your sweet husband and rise above them. - I agree something needed to be said, but don't let them get you down in the GUTTER where Porky is trying to pull you.
If Elizabeth (Porky) Edwards really wanted to help, she would take on the epidemic of obesity in this country, starting in her own dining room!!
