Okay, that does it!

I was idly musing about whether we should do anything extra special here at the UT for Thanksgiving, and this talk of fricasseed pets has got me thinking ... big!

Naturally we wouldn't want to mess with the plesiosaur, as I'm not really into sushi in a big way, and Rexxy isn't even ours, so how about a brontosaur?

Yeah, I know the real name is now the Apatosaur, but we grew up calling them brontosaurs. Specifically, I'd like to collect a variant of the Apatosaur that just has no survival instinct, the Apathysaur.

You can easily see why this variety died out early, but they make good eating, and one will serve for quite a large crowd...

What'd'ya think? Big feast at the UT?

You think big. We are going to need a whole lot of stuffing for that thing.

Shall we deep fry it?

Whatever works!

I vote not to be on the "cleaning committee" for said animal...

I DO, however, have a recipe for Teriyaki that will render the meat so tender it will fall apart in your mouth, so have at it...:)

I think the market has that dinner for you made for $39.99. You have to bring your own tractor to pick it up though.

I LIKe your idea for a big Thanksgiving Feed of Apyathysaur. on the UDT.

Like you say, it feeds a crowd

How do you want to do it?

I always brine my turkey, and then rub it with mayonaisse right befoe it goes into the oven

Too ambitious?

LMK what you guys think.
