FIRST OF ALL THE WITNESSES ARE NOT A CULT. THAT OPINION WAS FORMED BY SOMEONE THAT OBVIOUSLY FEELS THREATNED BY THE TRUTH.IT AMAZES ME THAT WHENEVER A WITNESS DOES SOMETHING WRONG IT MAKES THE FRONT PAGE OF THE NEWS! IF A BABTIST OR PROTESTANT DOES SOMETHING WRONG IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THEIR RELIGION. AND THIS BIG COVER UP GARBAGE IS A JOKE. ADMITTEDLY THEY ARE NOT PERFECT NOR CLAIM TO BE. MATT 24:9 SAYS THAT WE WOULD BE OBJECTS OF HATRED ON ACCOUNT OF HIS NAME. WHAT OTHER RELIGION IS HATED ON ACCOUNT OF HIS NAME? ONLY 1...

Sarah's explanation of why she legitimized the birther conspiracy theorists feeds right into her victimhood storyline: Voters have every right to ask candidates for information if they so choose. I’ve pointed out that it was seemingly fair game during the 2008 election for many on the left to badger my doctor and lawyer for proof that Trig is in fact my child. Conspiracy-minded reporters and voters had a right to ask … which they have repeatedly. Ah yes... Palin was a victim of a massive left wing conspiracy that forced her to courageously step down as Alaska's governor. So it's...

On July 27th, Michelle Malkin launched the publicity tour for Culture of Corruption on Sean Hannity's radio show. Starting on May 18th, the same Michelle Malkin began writing a series of blog posts that featured Anita Moncrief, an informant that blew the whistle on a connection between ACORN and the Obama administration. Malkin has used the monikor "whistle blower" to describe Moncrief, and her coverage hasn't merely been positive but sometimes downright fawning in describing Moncrief. In fact, Malkin featured Moncrief ten times before the book came out. Before this post on the 18th, Malkin had written only once about...

Retired General Antonio Taguba, the officer who led the Army's investigation into Abu Ghraib, recently wrote in the preface to the new report, Broken laws, Broken Lives: "There is no longer any doubt as to whether the current administration has committed war crimes. The only question that remains to be answered is whether those who ordered the use of torture will be held to account." Should those who ordered war crimes be held to account? With the conclusion of the Bush regime approaching, many people are dubious, even those horrified by Administration actions. They fear a long, divisive ordeal that...

June 21, 2008 Over the past several days, I have gone through several emotions, confusion, disgust, disappointment, and finally anger. At first my confusion and disgust were aimed at the arrogance of our State Legislature. Now, I find anger has overtaken my disappointment for my Governor, Bobby Jindal. My anger also extends to the national media, which includes the press and conservative radio talk show host that have long touted the “savior of the Republican party’s future.” Since Hurricane Katrina, Louisiana has made the national news and exposed the corrupt and inept leadership in Baton Rouge. The impression the rest...

BREAKING NEWS: Obama's Butcher a Holocaust Denier CHICAGO, IL- Barack Obama's recent string of bad luck is about to get worse. After some digging, The New York Daily News has discovered that Herbert Polaski, butcher at the grocery store near Obama's Chicago home, has posted several anti-Semitic comments on the Internet and may have also attended a Holocaust deniers conference in 2002.

If someone told me in the 1990's that I, an outspoken and vehement opponent of the Clintons would now be endorsing Hillary Clinton for President of the United States, I would have laughed in their face at the absolute absurdity of the notion. But here I am now, a staunch conservative, joining conservatives Ann Coulter and Bill Cunningham among others in endorsing Hillary Rodham Clinton for President. How could this be? As absurd as the notion that I would someday endorse Hillary Clinton for President over the Republican nominee is the equally absurd notion that barely a decade after one...

Today marks the 5th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. The Bush Administration, its neoconservative allies, its congressional supporters, and the acquiescent mainstream media need to take this week as an opportunity for critical self-examination. It is time for them to face the fact that they have a problem, an addiction to this war. Here are just a few of the signs and examples: Defensiveness, temper tantrums, resentful behavior – i.e. the labeling of those who oppose the war as defeatists, unpatriotic, “blame America first” types, or saying that they don’t “support the troops” Unexplained moodiness or irritability – i.e....

RALEIGH - No, you're not imagining things. That really is a Ron Paul for President blimp flying over the City of Raleigh today. Organizers for the blimp took off this morning at 8am at the Airship Management Hangar in Elizabeth City, North Carolina and they are on their way to Chester, South Carolina where they will make their first stop. This afternoon, the blimp will be flying over north Raleigh and will most likely be visible from Interstate 540 at some point, said Bryce Henderson, a media coordinator for the effort. Organizers say the current schedule has it passing over...

RHINEBECK, N.Y., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- A financial crisis will likely send the U.S. dollar into a free fall of as much as 90 percent and gold soaring to $2,000 an ounce, a trends researcher said. I'm angry when I see the unfair united effort to shut out true conservatives like Duncan Hunter. Many Christian Conservatives are acting like cowards. They fear men rather choosing the very best person. Even if that person is not well know with a lot of money behind them. They ignore Duncan Hunter's stand on the issues. The people are not listening to him. He has a definite plan and vision for America. All the Rinos are starting copying him. He makes them look bad. The Rinos only see money. For themselves. They are more afraid of Hillary Clinton and the believe...

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Republican presidential hopeful Fred Thompson seemed taken by surprise when asked Tuesday about oil drilling in the Everglades, apparently unaware it's been a major Florida issue. Before answering, he laughed at the question. "Gosh, no one has told me that there's any major reserves in the Everglades, but maybe that's one of the things I need to learn while I'm down here," Thompson said after talking over state issues with Gov. Charlie Crist.

Rep. David R. Obey, chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, yesterday threatened unilaterally to block President Bush's $189 billion emergency war-funding bill to force a U.S. pullout from Iraq and called for levying a surtax to cover the war's costs. Mr. Obey, breaking with the Democratic leadership that has failed repeatedly to end the Iraq war, said unless Mr. Bush establishes a goal to abort combat operations in Iraq by January, he would act alone to cut off war spending. "Future generations should not be saddled with paying for an ill-advised war in Iraq that seems to be never-ending," said...

For all of you out there who think G.W. Bush deserves to be impeached--I’m with you, of course--we may now have the “smoking gun” which would force the Democrats in Congress to act, even if they do not want to. This is a matter of principle, not politics. I believe a fair reading of Sidney Blumenthal’s investigative report on Salon.com of last Thursday, September 6th, provides that smoking gun. The title says it all; it is what many of us have suspected for years: “Bush Knew Saddam had No Weapons of Mass Destruction”. The story concerns the Foreign Minister of...

Promised Land ? by: Jeremiah J Here are two questions that are imposing themselves repeatedly in somewhat dimmed search lights of this age’s conscience: Is it possible to proclaim the excellence of the system and the country and in the same time betray the very principles on which these are founded on? Or to praise quality of life where the values of man’s privacy and dignity are trampled upon ? These are contradictions of this age when so many promises are promulgated but few ever fulfilled. There had been the voluminous theoretical varieties on the subject of responsible government and...

Correct me if I'm wrong but our government is not a democracy but a Representative, Constitutional, Republic. I'm interested to learn more on how this forum supports the United States and its form of government yet I find the threads to be bland, lacking of the basic principles that a so-called "Republican" arena should be supporting, and smacking sorely of sock-sucking. However, since everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt, including dangerously ignorant individuals, can someone explain why now that illegal immigrants have been identified in New Haven, CT...why are they not being picked up and sent back to their...

A friend of mine recently was surprised when I told him that I am not voting Republican this fall. "You are one of the most conservative people I know," he said. "Exactly," I said, "and that is precisely why I am not voting Republican." For me, illegal immigration has been the final straw. And the GOP's recent decision to pull funding from Randy Graf's campaign shows the writing on the wall: CONSERVATIVES, YOU ARE NOT WELCOME IN THE GOP. Of course, the GOP will take conservatives' votes and money, but if a real conservative runs for office, he almost certainly...

I guess my question is, how do we expect to defend ourselves against terrorism? We're fighting a war overseas and we can't even keep it together here! Sure, there have been incidences of foreign terrorists (specifically the WTC in '93 and of course on 9/11 along with the Pentagon and the downing of Flight United 93), but there is domestic terrorism! Does anyone remember Timothy McVeigh or Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris? With the latter mentioned, these were two sick individuals who were planning on a wide scale attack on their school. Fortunately, they weren't able to pull it off...

One way to end terrorism on airplanes would be to have separate planes for baggage. With a minimal crew and no one else on board, an inexpensive baggage plane would not be a very attractive terrorist target. Without baggage the passenger plane would be as safe from internal attack as possible. Terrorists could only sneak on board with nonmetallic objects that they have swallowed or that they can, um, stuff up their rectums. A simple-minded implementation of such a scheme would be to halve the number of passenger flights, an inconvenience that many would put up with for the sake...

Mexicans Doing Jobs Americans Don't Want: Kicking Iranian Butt! With their exciting 3-1 victory over Iran in the World Cup Sunday, the Mexican national team unwittingly breathed new life into President Bush's amnesty plan, fictitiously called immigration reform. How so? Well, those Mexican fellows proved skilled at kicking Iranian butt----at least on the soccer field. And it's not too much a stretch to assume that that skill set---kicking Iranian butt---is also prevalent among the 20 million or so illegal squatters now in America. President Bush should seize the initiative and use his 'Bully Pulpit' to broker a deal with...

I am curious why none of the media covers the most important aspect of the Malvo shootings. If you look at Newspapers on the dates when the shootings are underway you discover something I find quite interesting. The shootings begin to dominate the news the day before the debate on the Iraq war starts and they catch them the day after the declaration of war??? If you ask most people "do you remember the debate about starting the second Iraq war", they will all answer "yes of course". But if you followup with the question "name one point in the...

This is now the 4th Memorial Day since the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Many people and media outlets are looking back at the war. And with that, comes the criticism. Now, I haven't spent much time on FR, but I am suspecting that most FRers are still in support of President Bush's policies. I consider myself a moderate and am critical of many things he has done since taking office. I don't know whether many conservatives feel it is unpatriotic to protest the President, but keep this in mind: "The President is merely the most important among a large...

All my life, I believed in Republican values -- individual responsibility and limited government. Then it happened; I found myself with a small child, unemployed and disabled. I turned to my church, and after years of regular tithes, suddenly I just wasn't their problem. My Republican friends? I was now a pariah to them. My only relief was to turn to government assistance for housing, food, and other needs and I was able to survive with dignity. So chalk me up as one who no longer drinks the GOP koolaid.

I wonder if America is called a terrorist organization now days. In my opinion we literally are. If you look at it from a perspective. We tell countries what they can and what they can't do. If they don't abide we basically go to war with them and change their government and maybe to an extent their culture for them. Is this not a form of terrorism? To force a country to do something against their will. In my opinion it is, but that's just me. An it's not just with Iran and Iraq, which are recent acts of this,...

APRIL 6--A former top aide to Vice President Dick Cheney told a federal grand jury that President George Bush authorized him to leak information from a classified intelligence report to a New York Times reporter. I sometimes recall the early months of 2003 with mixed feelings; I spent most of that late winter and early spring on the road. I like a few went to Baghdad prior to the current war there. Like many others, I warned of the many dangers that come from the folly of this war. Yet still many thought that a war would be good option. I wonder how many would see it as such now. I also wonder what will be said after I complete this little piece. There is a common saying in English it goes a little like...

That proves biblical “nothing secret, that shall not be made manifest”. What an ill fate! It is quite possible that if Dick Cheney shot someone less famous (or less rich) nobody would know about this accident. Hence none would find out that vice-president likes shooting after he’s got tight. And Cheney himself admitted his guilt only after his lawyers’ consultation and confessed that he drank hard just before “hunt”. That’s rather disturbing accident. Remember all those Bush’s falls… It seems to me that alcoholism has become scouring of present USA government. Are there just drunken brawls in the White House?...

US prepares military blitz against Iran's nuclear sites By Philip Sherwell in Washington (Filed: 12/02/2006) Strategists at the Pentagon are drawing up plans for devastating bombing raids backed by submarine-launched ballistic missile attacks against Iran's nuclear sites as a "last resort" to block Teheran's efforts to develop an atomic bomb. Central Command and Strategic Command planners are identifying targets, assessing weapon-loads and working on logistics for an operation, the Sunday Telegraph has learnt.
