San Francisco-based crowdfunding website Indiegogo has allowed a fundraising campaign for the former South Carolina police officer who fatally shot Walter Scott. A campaign called the Michael T. Slager Defense Fund has at press time raised $1,250 of a $5,000 goal with 58 days left. 45 people have contributed money so far. Indiegogo “allows anyone, anywhere to fund ideas that matter to them and just like other open platforms — such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter — we don’t judge the content of campaigns as long as they are in compliance with our Terms of Use," a representative told Mashable....
