Ok. I am pissed off and I need some help from you my fellow freepers. There is a bastard thief steeling my McCain yard signs every night. For the first week, they held up pretty well. I bought 4 signs from johnmccain.com ($7.00 a piece) because my local republican committee only had 'McCain' signs and I wanted the McCain/Palin signs as I am actually voting FOR Sarah. I'm curious about the experiences of Freepers around Florida, as well as the rest of the country. Have you seen any McCain/Palin yardsigns and/or bumperstickers? Have you been able to get any to display? Have you tried? I have, several times here in the Tampa area, and each time been told they ran out..or they're coming in. Frankly, I don't get it...

A quick little vanity because we have a need to know. In Missouri, the lack of yard signs compared to Bush-Kerry race in simply amazing. We see them here and there but I would say here it is at least 80% less than previous races. Bumper stickers are probably 70% less than before. Is it fear of vandalism, apathy? I apologize in advance for this vanity but it would be an asset to hear what it is like in other states right now. The self hating white bimbo up the street has taken down her Obama sign. I'm pretty sure it wasn't theft; the yard was being mowed and it wasn't put back up after. Maybe she's a little ashamed or possibly changing her mind. It wasn't even a current campaign sign; it was from the NH primary. I just put up my McCain/Palin sign in my own yard, and it's the only yard sign in the neighborhood. Sorry if this vanity is not appropriate. I am passionate about this election. I know we should be doing a lot more than just this...but, Does planting a McCain-Palin Yard Sign and applying a McCain-Palin Bumper Sticker help the cause at all? What's your experience? Has there been any studies on this?

CUERO — Registered sex offenders in Cuero would be forced to post a sign at their residences declaring their status if some members of the Cuero City Council get their way. ARVADA - The Democratic mayor of Arvada has been accused of stealing yard signs supporting a Republican candidate for state Senate. Our response to the sign stealers...  I covered my business sign with the big Bush/Cheney sign and we dotted the yard with new signs.Down the hill, other big signs were just slashed out and stolen. My husband made a large template and now they are wood instead of vinyl. 2 at the bottom of the hill and one at the top have all been replaced. Oh yea, and we added one that wasn't there before.We dotted new signs all along the hill.

I live in a nice Suburban neighborhood in SE Florida, and my neighbors and I have just had our Bush-Cheney signs lawn jacked. A Kerry-Edwards sign on a nearby lawn still stands. One of our neighbors followed the perps. They were adults in two pick ups. Probably union thugs. Unfortunately, he didn't get the tag nbumbers. Now the cops have been called. Re Yard Sign Wars.
