The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia issued a ruling forbidding war against the Jews and proclaiming that Hamas is a terror group. The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, issued a surprising religious ruling, saying that fighting against Israel was inappropriate and that Hamas is a “terror organization.” The Muslim cleric issued the ruling while answering a question on a television program regarding the Palestinian riots surrounding the Temple Mount in July, Turkey’s Anadolu news agency reported. Israel’s Communications Minister Ayoub Kara welcomed the unexpected decision and invited the Mufti to visit Israel.

Police in Spain shot and injured an unarmed Frenchman on Saturday at a toll station near the French border, who officers said was shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’. The officers mistakenly suspected he had a weapon, a police statement said, adding that they do not expect to open a terrorism investigation. The man, of Moroccan origin, was travelling with a woman in a vehicle registered in France and approached the toll by the border town of La Jonquera in the north of the country in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Since announcing he will not seek re-election in 2018, Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) is on a warpath against President Trump. While Flake is lamenting President Trump's rhetoric and nationalist, populist policies, it's important to remember the Arizona lawmaker has a checkered past as a foreign lobbyist who worked for a uranium mining firm with ties to Iran. Yahoo News reports: [Flake] came back to Washington [from Namibia] in 1990 and launched a consulting firm, Interface Public Affairs; he signed up the Rossing uranium mine, one of the new nation's economic drivers, as a client. Flake signed on as the mine's...

  • FBI report on black 'extremists' raises new monitoring fears

An FBI report on the rise of black “extremists” is stirring fears of a return to practices used during the civil rights movement, when the bureau spied on activist groups without evidence they had broken any laws. The FBI said it doesn’t target specific groups, and the report is one of many its intelligence analysts produce to make law enforcement aware of what they see as emerging trends. A similar bulletin on white supremacists, for example, came out about the same time. The 12-page report, issued in August, says “black identity extremists” are increasingly targeting law enforcement after police killings...

The Trump administration put the Palestinians on notice Friday that it will shutter their office in Washington unless they’ve entered serious peace talks with Israel, U.S. officials said, potentially giving President Donald Trump more leverage as he seeks an elusive Mideast peace deal. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has determined that the Palestinians ran afoul of an obscure provision in a U.S. law that says the Palestine Liberation Organization’s mission must close if the Palestinians try to get the International Criminal Court to prosecute Israelis for crimes against Palestinians. A State Department official said that in September, Palestinian President Mahmoud...

A 25-year-old man has been sentenced to two years and six months in prison by Denmark’s High Court for making and possessing a bomb. Somalian citizen Libaan Ahmed Warsame has also been sentenced with conditional deportation from Denmark. He was found guilty of making and storing a bomb in the basement of an apartment building on the Peter Fabers Vej residential street in Aarhus. The device was discovered by a resident in the building in October 2016, and the area was closed off for several areas as armed police evacuated the block and arrested Warsame. This anger is not just political, just as the political conflict between Israel and the “Palestinians” isn’t political, either. The Qur’an depicts the Jews as inveterately evil and bent on destroying the well-being of the Muslims. They are the strongest of all people in enmity toward the Muslims (5:82); they fabricate things and falsely ascribe them to Allah (2:79; 3:75, 3:181); they claim that Allah’s power is limited (5:64); they love to listen to lies (5:41); they disobey Allah and never observe his commands (5:13). They are disputing and quarreling (2:247); hiding the truth and misleading people (3:78); staging rebellion...

A German court has ruled that Kuwait’s national airline didn’t have to transport an Israeli citizen because the carrier would face legal repercussions at home if it did. The Frankfurt state court noted in its verdict Thursday that Kuwait Airways is not allowed to close contracts with Israelis under Kuwaiti law because of the Middle Eastern country’s boycott of Israel. North Korea suggested Wednesday it may be open to giving up its nuclear weapons, but only if the U.S. did so first. Ruling Korean Workers' Party newspaper Rodong Sinmun published a commentary Wednesday in which the country's authoritarian leadership challenged President Donald Trump to reverse his support for a bigger, stronger U.S. nuclear weapons arsenal and adopt a non-proliferation policy. North Korea has argued its weapons of mass destruction stockpile was necessary only to prevent the U.S. from overthrowing the government of Kim Jong Un, which the U.S. has threatened to do by force if he did not abandon his...

No problem. Pope Francis can just step out of his luxurious apartments, embrace the Islamic State jihadis, kiss their feet, and explain to them that authentic Islam and the proper understanding of the Qur’an reject every form of violence. Then they’ll share a hearty laugh over their former misunderstanding of Islam, and all will be well.“ISIS’ Christmas threat to the Pope: Terror group threaten vehicle and gun attack on the Vatican,” by Chris Kitching, Mirror, November 14, 2017 (thanks to The Religion of Peace): The terror group ISIS has made a chilling threat against the Vatican just weeks before tens...

Israel as a Strategic Asset of the WestBy Colonel Richard Kemp 25 Heshvan 5778 – November 14, 2017 Hanit is the Hebrew word meaning spearhead. That word explains why Israel is a vital strategic asset not just to Great Britain, but to the West as a whole. Hanita is also the name of a settlement established in the western Galilee in March 21, 1938. Geographically, Hanita is literally the spearhead of Israel, hard up against the front line with Lebanon. It lies about 15 kilometres northeast of Nahariya.Advertisement The story of Hanita encapsulates Britain’s longstanding and too often dishonourable relationship...

No American or European on the face of this earth could force a Palestinian leader to sign a peace treaty with Israel that would be rejected by an overwhelming majority of his people. Trump's "ultimate solution" may result in some Arab countries signing peace treaties with Israel. These countries anyway have no real conflict with Israel. Why should there not be peace between Israel and Kuwait? Why should there not be peace between Israel and Oman? Do any of the Arab countries have a territorial dispute with Israel? The only "problem" the Arab countries have with Israel is the...

Obama partisans fret as Saudi Arabia, Israel and the US confront reality on Iran. Originally published by the Jerusalem Post. Friday, long-time US diplomats and Middle East experts Aaron David Miller and Richard Sokolsky published an article in Foreign Policy expressing “buyers’ remorse” over Saudi Arabia’s newfound willingness to take the lead in regional affairs. Titled, “Donald Trump has unleashed the Saudi Arabia we always wanted – and feared,” Miller and Sokolsky note that for generations, US policymakers wanted the Saudis to take a lead in determining the future of the region. .
