On "Fox News Sunday," The Washington Post's Bob Woodward described what he called "one of the untold stories," in Washington D.C., which is the "alienation between Obama and Senate Democrats" because according to Woodward "he is not engaged" and refuses to listen.

On Sunday’s broadcast of ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos,” fill-in moderator Martha Raddatz asked how journalism has evolved since the time of Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein’s role in the Watergate scandal that resulted in the downfall of then-President Richard Nixon. Sharyl Attkisson, formerly an investigative reporter with CBS News, where she resigned after becoming disenfranchised with the editorial direction of CBS, suggested that had the Watergate scandal happened today, Nixon might have skated if he employed the tactics President Barack Obama’s is using in handling his controversies. “I think we have gone backwards since that time where we...

“Hillary was stunned when she heard the president talk about the Benghazi attack,” one of her top legal advisers said in an interview. “Obama wanted her to say that the attack had been a spontaneous demonstration triggered by an obscure video on the Internet that demeaned the Prophet Mohammed.” This adviser continued: “Hillary told Obama, ‘Mr. President, that story isn’t credible. Among other things, it ignores the fact that the attack occurred on 9/11.’ But the president was adamant. He said, ‘Hillary, I need you to put out a State Department release as soon as possible.’”

Washington Post writer Bob Woodward said Sunday that he doesn’t believe Hillary Clinton when she says the Benghazi investigation is all about politics, claiming there are still “serious, unanswered questions about this.” Woodward spoke on a “Fox News Sunday” panel about a leaked chapter from former Secretary of State Clinton’s new book, “Hard Choices,” which addresses the September 11, 2012 attacks on State Department personnel in Benghazi, Libya. While many assert that Clinton and the broader Obama administration were involved in a political cover-up of the attack’s details, the book declares that everything there is to know about Benghazi and...

Tomorrow is Tax Day, and millions of Americans — myself included — will see a large drain from our bank accounts to satisfy our obligations to Uncle Sam. So far, though, we have not seen Uncle Sam fulfill his obligation to drain the apparent political corruption at the IRS, even with two Congressional investigations into the targeting of the administration’s critics in the tax-exempt department under Lois Lerner. Barack Obama claims that there isn’t “a smidgen of corruption†at the IRS, but the Washington Post’s Bob Woodward scoffed at that defense on yesterday’s Fox News Sunday. “There’s obviously something here,”...

Bob Woodward appeared on Media Buzz with Fox News media analyst Howard Kurtz Sunday to talk about his book “The Price of Politics’”and the issues facing the Obama administration in its second term. Woodward claimed that people inside the White House are blaming him for the recent wave of criticism directed at the Obama administration. As for the mood inside the White House after the failed rollout of Obamacare, Woodward stated, “the temperature’s going up right now as there’s more and more criticism on the president’s comments on Obamacare.”

Bob Woodward, who along with Carl Bernstein brought down President Nixon back in the 70s, has called the Obama administration a a "rat's nest of concealment and lies." He could have well added that it is run like a mafioso family, complete with threats and harsh punishments for not taking an offer you can't refuse. Woodward, himself was threatened, when he exposed that the sequester came from Obama and not the republicans.

Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward said Sunday a huge “secret government” and a government on “automatic pilot” has led to many of the concerns now making headlines. “They need to review this secret world,” he said of the Obama administration on “Face the Nation" on CBS. “You get to a point where it’s what do you worry about? Secret government.” National Security Agency spying both domestic and abroad and the disastrous rollout of the Affordable Care Act are the results, he said. “We have an incredibly powerful government that gets on automatic pilot,” he said. People aren’t checking all of...

Bob Woodward said that sequestration was Obama's & Lew's idea. Why now is Obama againt it? Why was he for it before he was against it? Why does he flip-flop on his CORE beliefs (raising the debt ceiling, the individual mandate, sequestration, etc)? Not secondary or tertiary beliefs...core beliefs. And why is Lew fearmongering over the debt ceiling? What he has said about it recently has been debunked by Moody's.

Woodward: If Shutdown or Debt Ceiling Causes Economic Crisis, It’s on the ‘President’s Head’ 'It's on the president's head, he's got to lead he's got to talk. And the absence of discussion here is a baffling element' BY: Washington Free Beacon Staff September 30, 2013 7:47 am Bob Woodward of The Washington Post said if there is a “downturn or a collapse” resulting from the failure of CR or debt ceiling negotiations it will be on President Obama’s “head” Monday on Morning Joe. ... Bob Woodward is an associate editor of The Washington Post and the author, most recently, of “The Price of Politics.” This essay is adapted from a new afterword to the book’s paperback edition, coming out this month. House Speaker John Boehner has promised “a whale of a fight.” Some Democrats are warning that the GOP could sink the economy. And so begins another budget showdown. How it ends — and whether the U.S. government can avoid a shutdown and a default — may hinge on whether the two principal combatants, Boehner and President Obama, can figure out a way to...

“Benghazi coverup? What Benghazi coverup!?? We no longer cover phony scandals” In hindsight that trip to the Amazon distribution center in Chattanooga to talk about (small case) jobs, jobs jobs makes more sense. Now that we can officially announce that Jeff Bezos bought the Washington Post, you see the perfect symmetry, right? Coming soon: all the news that’s fit to read Even some of our most loyal supporters wondered why Big Guy would pick Amazon - king of the crappy, minimum wage job that makes Walmart look like a worker’s paradise - to discuss his "better bargain for the...

Along with NBC's David Gregory and Chuck Todd, you can now add CNBC's Andrew Ross Sorkin to the list of journalists (and NBC journalists) floating the idea that one of their own, The Guardian's Glenn Greenwald, has done something illegal in reference to his work with NSA leaker Edward Snowden: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvpXztqqzCcMy personal suggestion to Gregory, Todd, and Sorkin is that before they throw these kinds of baseless accusations around, they might want to clean up their own backyard. With their selectively edited videos and audio, NBC News is currently a hotbed of journalistic malpractice unlike anything I have ever seen...

(BREITBART) — Legendary Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward criticized the “Gang of Eight” immigration bill process, and the new rush to pass the repackaged bill with the amendment. Woodward added that “when you pass complicated legislation and no one has really read the bill” then “the outcome is absurd.”

It starts with the front page story from the Washington Post which talks about Bob Woodward’s new book, Obama’s Wars. The book quite literally is a stark reality check for the American people on who their Commander-in-Chief is and how he thinks. The first bombshell that people are talking about is this comment directly from Obama to Woodward: “We can absorb a terrorist attack. We’ll do everything we can to prevent it, but even a 9/11, even the biggest attack ever . . . we absorbed it and we are stronger.” Nice…but it gets worse...Check this. This might explain why...

Meanwhile, no one even knows where the president was the night a U.S. ambassador was murdered, or why the U.S. military sent no help. No one knows who inserted into official talking points a false story that an anti-Islam video led to the massacre. And no one seems to care — least of all the White House. But be warned, White House: Bob Woodward, who knows a thing or two about scandals and cover-ups, isn’t falling for the double head fake. “If you read through all these emails,” the Watergate reporter said, “you see that everyone in the government is...

How long ago is seems now.Bob Woodward complained in February about heavy handed administration treatment after Woodward reported that Obama was untruthful about who came up with the idea of the Sequester:http://www.youtube.com/embed/FdfHEdeCC0QThe reaction from the left media in particular was savagery, belittling Woodward, making is seem as if the words used by the White House “you will regret†were blown out of proportion by a self-aggrandizing Woodward: Wow, looks like Woodward is going the full David Mamet/Judy Miller combo. This is gonna be fun to watch— Josh Marshall (@joshtpm) February 28, 2013 Kevin Drum at Mother Jones exclaimed, Seriously, WTF Is...

Since the sequester was a cut in the increase, not a cut in the baseline spending, why is the FAA cutting $600 million dollars and blaming the furloughs on the sequester? Did I miss something? BTW, didn't Bob Woodward say that the sequester was Lew's idea and was jumped on by Obama?
