In a rare intervention by the federal courts into college athletics, Federal District Court Judge Butch Leftwich has order a temporary block of the College Football Playoff rankings as issued earlier today by the Committee, citing unfairness and political bias. In her ruling, Judge Leftwich stated "In this current political era, it is unconscionable and de facto unconstitutional to have a college football playoff committee choose 4 teams from deep red states. This court has determined that a more fair distribution would include for example, Syracuse or USC." The judge did not include Ohio State in her list, as a...

The folks at Fidelity advocate it but author Ric Edelman doesn't. Pay taxes now for none later-especially with the good economic news. As much as possible at 39% tax rate now or a measured amount yearly at a lower(12%?)rate? Trumps lower rate goes up to $90k which means we can all transfer $30-60k yearly. Tough call my friends. Talk to me.

Not the first time that POS Brian Ross conveniently lied about or faked a story to further an agenda. It's also not the first time the jaundiced swamp-whores and crypto-Never-Trumpers at FOX ran breathlessly to their mics, barely able to contain their glee; Our president was heading for the unthinkable constitutional crisis they've been vying for and the stock market was crashing on the news. YAAAAAAAAYYYYY! This is worse than yelling "fire" in a crowded movie theater. No objective person can deny that they are attempting to overturn an American election and hobble the will of The People... often in...

What is the DOJ up to? Most FR readers are not into reading court filings. I will admit that most are boring to read if you don’t have a background in LAW. With that said, I like to read Supreme Court arguments and Cert applications. This one, https://www.supremecourt.gov/DocketPDF/17/17-130/21998/20171129155714442_17-130%20Lucia.pdf is what the Session’s DOJ appears to be attempting force all Federal Agencies to require their Administrative Law Judges, (ALJ’S), comply with the Appointments Act of the US Constution. For those that don’t want to read the full filing to the USSC, the basic argument of the Trump DOJ is that the...

I hear a lot of blaming of Democrats for our immigration mess, but Republicans control Congress, don't they?

Need FR help. Yes, I am logged on. When logged on, FR loads onto the general latest comments page rather than the latest articles/forum page. When I click on the Forum tab at the top, it loads the latest comments page. Can't load the Forum page no matter what. When I log out and go to FR, the Forum page automatically loads as it should. But when I log on, it goes back to the latest comments page and I still can't get to the Forum page not matter what. Scanned through my account page but don't see anything helpful....

Now that the Left is huffing and puffing, why aren't there investigations into the shennanigans of the Democrats. After all, there's enough to impanel many special counsels but, of course, their deeds go unnoticed. As for talking to Russians, didn't Obama have his people do so prior to taking office? What did they discuss? What promises were made? We, the people, need to know.

A good, quick video on the militia clause of the Second Amendment in light of the Militia Acts of 1792, the Dick Act of 1903, and U.S. Code Article 10.

why is pelosi calling for the resignation of a black democrat (which, to liberals is about as close to godlike as a human being can get) Why would she do that? Here's why IMO-- Conyers is 88 years old. He will most likely retire, fall ill or die soon. So losing him shortly is going to happen either way. Whereas losing Franken could potentially be the loss of a career democrat with many years ahead of him. Going after conyers allows pelosi to look like she actually cares about women being harassed, without sacrificing much in the way of dem...

Assuming Moore wins, the GOP forces an investigation and the accusers must go on the record and be challenged. The blessing is that after the obvious serial sexual assaulters are removed (Weinstein, Lauer, etc), then the ‘always believe the woman’ mantra will target innocent men for years to come. What better example than having Moore’s accusers unveiled publicly? Bottom line - without a public showing of lying accusers, many men will be victims of feminazis for years to come.

"Word" has it that POTUS, Trump will step-up his support of Judge Roy Moore, who is running for the Senate In Alabama against Left-Wing, Progressive, Democrat, Obamabot/Clintonite, Doug Jones, through heavy use of robo calls, political ads, etc. "Rumor" has it the POTUS might even consider a trip to Alabama to support Judge, Roy Moore in person. The Mainstream Media has neglected to inform the public that the "sex abuse" accusations relative to Moore have been proved false....with the result that Moore is now leading heavily in all polls. Folks feel that a Trump visit to Alabama will produce a...

Our daughter called last night from ESU (Enormous State University). Turns out she studied a lot for an econ test. Struggling as she is in the class, she EARNED a 71. The dippity doo-dah prof then announced the flunkers would get curves on their grades to increase them above D's and F's - but none for the higher achieving students.

With the news that the NFL is pledging $100 million to Social Justice causes, is it time to begin looking at how we, as consumers, make choices by purchasing or viewing that may support causes we don't believe in?

Is their any better way of describing what's going in liberal media and politics? Are we making a running list? I'll start: Garrison Keiller (my personal favorite) Matt Lauer Anthony Weiner Raul Grijalva Harvey Weinstein Charlie Rose (No, THIS one is my personal favorite) Al Franken

Too much baggage. They think that Warren can win, she looks foolish and she's looney looking. Also these sexual harassment stories, some of them like Moore, Lauer could be witchhunts. I don't think America is in the mood for feminists right now.

Two days ago Trump tweeted a link that promptly came under a huge denial of service attack for three days. The scope and depth of the attack boosted interest in whatever content was at the site; after public interest in the matter waned, the attack stopped. With some minor formatting differences I'm simply copying the content that was there below but at the linked source you can easily confirm that the content is roughly the same: QAnon: The Storm and The Awakening An introduction article into the QAnon posts 11.19.2017 QAnon: Preface A Patriot has surfaced that is giving many...

What is this? I don't know what these are but they are installed every couple of miles around here. It is a big deal because an entirely new utility pole has to be installed which is at least 10 feet higher than the others.
