First of all, kudos to CNN for sponsoring an informative debate. What we learned is that ANY of these Republicans would be far better than ANY Democrat for out future. And, we learned a couple of other things.1. Trump doesn't do details. Nobody killed him so he probably won.2. They all, truly, want to get along and are fed up with "x said you suck, what do you say in response?"3. Only money will determine who's on the stage come March, 2016.All in all, it's the best field the GOP has put up in decades. Too bad some of them still...

Shameless plug to say Happy Freeper Birthday to me! 11 years running! Spent last year at Emory hospital but made it out alive with a little help from Obama visiting the Hospital last year. /s

I am the one who had to go through incapable government procedures to become legal resident of this magnificent country - the (former) beacon of freedom and justice in the world. I see talking heads, professors and government geniuses analyzing and trying to "comprehensively" fix the problem of illegal immigration, illegals crossing of borders, overstaying visas, people trying to share the American Dream. Talking about the problem, but not fixing it, making it worse. Result of the typical government bureaucracy incapable of running anything right. What is the problem? President Reagan realized that there is an immigration problem and he...

No link, Rush just said it. He said he hears that iCarly has been given the assignment by the RNC to take down Trump. Presumably in the CNN debate tomorrow. That's the reason she was added to the program at the last second. Rush meandered in to this after talking about Prince Rebus and how he doesn't even know the RNC Chairman.

Donald Trump is at it again. He recently criticized Carly Fiorina — who’s rising in the polls in Iowa — because of her looks. He wondered out loud — when surrounded by yes-men — how anyone could ever vote for her. “Just look at that face,” he said, adding that she’s a woman and he’s not supposed to talk about it, but “come on.” He later pretended he was talking about her “demeanor,” but no sane person accepts that explanation. No, Donald, you were criticizing yet another woman because you think she’s ugly. That’s all there is to it. And...

People on twitter are saying that Hillary's hacked e-mails are out on the web now. This guy, Ben Hamner, appears to have them available on his site: https://twitter.com/benhamner I'm not computer savvy enough to attempt to download them. I hope it's the real deal!

Our governing system no longer serves its intended purpose, to secure the blessings of liberty. Any casual read of the Constitution reveals our government’s wholesale departure from it. Congress gaffs off or assigns its duties to craft legislation, determine spending, ratify treaties, oversee the executive branch, and regulate the judicial branch. Not being content with rewriting statutes, Scotus increasingly elevates itself above God; its Obergefell v. Hodges ruling is only the latest outrage among many. Executive branch agencies reflect the will of one man, Obama, and not congressional statutes. In response, there is a small but growing minority of Americans...

Yes there are many issues and they are ALL important But I believe this is America's most important issue. Since it is, IMO, the one with the most potential to destroy the country in the shortest amount of time. The political process is already poisoned with it, and unless something is done the stituation will only get worse. It's hard to tell which candidate believes exactly what, and whether they can be trusted, or are they just posturing. Maybe people could post here about which candidates have what positions. And whether they are sincere.

A dissociative disorder whereby a wealthy and special person of the Elite Class truly believes that he/she does not own a gun, while at the same time owning an armed security detail. Great 'gotcha question' for Bloomberg or others.

A few days ago when asked about the couragous stand of Kim Davis, Trump essentially came out in support of gay marriage. "Its the law of the land," he said. “I hate to see her being put in jail." Well, isn't that swell Trumpy, but he added “I understand what they’re doing. It would be certainly nice if she didn’t do it." Lets get this straight, while bold leaders like Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Mike Huckabee are coming out in support of Kim Davis and her religious stand of conscious, Trump is busy kowtowing to the gay mafia, turning...

I understand the gay issue is important but to have to go through 9 pages of FR to get to current event OTHER than the gay issue is something I have never seen before. Granted; I have not been active the entire 16 years of my membership here but this is something beyond activism. It's almost, no, it is obsession. I don't like that gay marriage is the law of the land right now and that SCOTUS could not see how they have lessened the sanctity of marriage. I get that. But really people! Nine pages! Ya think that might...

THE BIG PICTURE: A PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE OF FIRST PRINCIPLES I’ve always been a “big picture” kinda guy. I would rather read a general overview of history rather than a detailed analysis of the Battle of the Bulge. I would prefer reading a concise, insightful summary of human nature rather than the most in-depth study of child development. I would prefer watching a Discovery Channel program on The Big Bang than one on the solar system. For me, the Big Picture is just more fun to think about than the little stuff. My approach to the presidential debates is no different....

#1 Kim Davis was elected to her position. Just like obama. And when obama ignores laws (and even makes up laws he wished he had) the left cheers. Same with the democrat mayors of Sanctuary Cities who ignore the law. Why are they not in jail? #2 Gay marriage is not a “law.” It is four unelected left wing progressive supreme court justices and one who leans left behaving as tyrants. Is this really how we want the most important and controversial laws to be enacted and imposed on us? Now imagine five Dick Cheneys on the bench. #3 See...

This is something that has been bugging me for years. Why should English speaking children be held back because the powers that be insist on forcing non-English speaking kids into a class they are nowhere near ready for thereby holding all those who are ready for it; back. It defies common sense. Is there any reason these non-English speaking children cannot go to a separate school for a year or more until they learn English well enough to go to an American school even it takes them more than a year or two to catch up? It's NOT the kids...

Every morning, I fire up my home computer (downloaded Windows 10 last week) and when I go to my Google Chrome icon, it takes me exactly 10 minutes for the Google main page to pop up on my screen. I like Google Chrome because I have GooglePlus and GMail, but it seems that Windows 10 is not supporting it because they want users to jump to Microsoft Edge (their browser) instead. What can I do to correct this? Should I uninstall and then install Google Chrome again? This delay is very frustrating.

I do not make very accurate crowd size estimates, but I figure about 1000, which is not bad for Florida's lib southeast coast. Good cheer had by all!
