31 May 201810,494 Some of the most well-known Hollywood stars are sounding off about the Samantha Bee’s comments calling White House advisor Ivanka Trump a “cunt.” Prolific director Judd Apatow called the insult “right on target.” “It’s weird that Trump calls nations shitholes and people animals and rapists and sons of bitches and one strong word – which is right on target- is found offensive,” Apatow said. • Getting past the smoke caused by filthy liberal language regarding splitting families

    05/31/2018 2:47:37 PM PDT · by Jim Robinson · 27 replies
You don't split up families. If a family enters the country illegally, you deport the entire family. If a child of foreign diplomat or foreign national working temporarily in America is born on US soil, he is a still citizen of the foreign nation and goes home with his parents when they go home. Likewise, the children of illegal aliens should go home with their parents when they are deported. Children on their own should never be allowed to cross our borders.
  • Gavin Newsom: No Evidence of ‘Big Blue Wave’

California Lieutenant Governor Gavin Newsom is worried that Democrats may be taking the so-called “big blue wave” in November for granted. In fact, the California gubernatorial frontrunner reportedly said on Tuesday that he does not see any evidence of a monster November blue wave, even in the bluest of blue states. When reporters asked him about the potential for a “big blue wave” in November, Newsom, according to Politico, replied: “I don’t see evidence of that. … In California, we kind of feel like we’ve got this. It’s a big blue state and in some respects, I think we kind...
  • What If 2006 Model Isn't Enough for Democrats?

It can often be useful for elections analysts to find a previous election to cite as a model for the current one. For example, Brendan Nyhan was fond of referring to 2012 as “Bizarro 2004,” where the Democratic campaign ran roughly on the same trajectory as the Republican campaign of just eight years earlier (and even concluded with a similar margin). There are a number of potential analogues for this year’s midterms, but my mind keeps wandering back to 2006. Here’s the interesting thing: A year like 2006 might not be enough for the Democrats to take the House. The...

John Goodman isn’t paying attention to the Roseanne Barr controversy — and he couldn’t care less about ABC’s decision to pull the plug on “Roseanne” and its Emmy campaign. “I wasn’t gonna get an Emmy anyway,” Goodman said in a video Wednesday, which was obtained by ET. “I’ve been up there [11] times already, and if I didn’t get one I’m not gonna get one,” the actor added. Up until now, Goodman — who served as Barr’s on-screen husband for more than a decade on “Roseanne” — has remained silent on her controversial tweet about former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett....

Roseanne Barr, the sitcom superstar fired by ABC Tuesday over a racist tweet, did not react well to statements released by her Roseanne co-stars Sara Gilbert and Michael Fishman. Gilbert, who played Roseanne Connor’s daughter Darlene — and who reportedly was responsible for the sitcom’s reboot — condemned Barr in a widely-circulated tweet Tuesday. “Roseanne’s recent comments about Valerie Jarrett, and so much more, are abhorrent and do not reflect the beliefs of our cast and crew or anyone associated with our show. I am disappointed in her actions to say the least,” Gilbert said.

Memorial Day weekend proved even bloodier than last year in Chicago. At least eight people were killed and 25 others wounded in shootings across the city since midnight Friday, police told WLS. Last year, over the entire weekend of the unofficial start of summer, seven people were killed and 45 others were hurt. The victims, WLS reported, include China Marie Lyons-Upshaw, who was shot in the chest while playing with a gun; Bobbieana Lyons, 20, a young mother shot and killed on her doorstep while celebrating her 2-year-old’s birthday; and a 31-year-old man shot twice in the chest and once...

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was booed at Yankee Stadium on Memorial Day, a day which also happened to be his 74th birthday. The Yankees public address announcer told the crowd that the former mayor and current Trump lawyer was in attendance, and wished him a happy birthday. After that announcement, the crowd began booing:

Most of us know or knew a hero. However, most heroes will tell you that the real heroes are the ones that did not come back. My personal hero was a born warrior, Corporal Laurence (Larry) King April 20, 1940-September 28, 1965 KIA Quang Tin, Vietnam. Larry was my platoon leader in JROTC and he enlisted after high school for Army paratrooper training. When his enlistment was completed, he worked at home in Tampa, FL. However, he heard the call to serve and enlisted in the Marines. He served in H Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines. During a firefight, he...

A Georgia rape victim was awarded $1 billion in what’s believed to be the largest jury verdict ever handed down in an American assault case, according to reports Friday. “It’s one of the biggest victories for women in the United States,” Chris Stewart, a lawyer for victim Hope Cheston, said at a press conference. “They said a little black girl in Clayton County who was raped is worth $1 billion. That was a big win for us,” he said, according to the local station 11alive.com. Cheston was 14 years old and visiting a friend October 2012 when she was attacked...

Wednesday at the New York State Democratic Party’s convention in Long Island, former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton declared that Democrats “believe in facts.” Clinton said, “I followed in the footsteps of Daniel Patrick Moynihan, someone whose words have been on my mind recently. He said, ‘everyone is entitled to their opinion, but not his own facts.’ Well as Democrats, we believe in facts, real ones, not the alternative kind. It is hard to believe this even needs to be said, but that is where we are these days.”

Billionaire Meg Whitman, who was the Republican nominee for California governor in 2010 and lost to Jerry Brown, is backing Democrat Antonio Villaraigosa for governor in 2018. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, “Whitman, the billionaire former eBay CEO who spent $144 million of her own money on her failed run in 2010, is co-hosting a fundraiser Thursday night for Villaraigosa in Silicon Valley.” A source close to Whitman told the Chronicle, “Meg has endorsed Antonio because, although she is a Republican, she believes he’s the best candidate for the job. Meg believes that Antonio is stronger than (Lt. Gov.)...

The U.S. birthrate hit a historic low in 2017, well below replacement levels, a phenomenon that Vox is touting as “a sign of progress.” According to a recent report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Health Statistics, the general fertility rate for women between the ages of 15 and 44 in 2017 was 60.2 births per 1,000 women, the lowest recorded level since government records began over a century ago. The total fertility rate (TFR) in the United States last year, which indicates the average number of births per woman in her lifetime, dropped to...

Time to Stop Comparing CIA/FBI Coup Attempt to Watergate Nothing Like This Has Happened Before. It is minimizing to call it "Like Watergate" and that is what the MSM and the Deep State want to do. Call it the CIA/FBI Coup Attempt. That is what it is. Name the truth, that the Deep State with their Dogs in the Weaponized CIA/FBI and don't forget the IRS, have been working to undermine this country and its people. These are treasonous, seditious acts. They deserve to be judged with the full force of our Constitutional law and severe punishment needs to be...

Revelations Not the New Testament Book of Revelations but the revelations from the investigation of the government special counsel. I believe it began on this day one year ago. The one year anniversary of most pivotal events is a time for review and reflection. I have looked forward to a random act of journalism that provided an accurate time line for the events relevelant to the Special Counsel but none are presented.Trying to connect the dots on my own resulted in a revelation. The revelation is the amount of corruption in our own government the investigation exposed. The bigger revelation...
  • Retiring Boehner/Cantor boys working to screw the Republican majority with Amnesty

That's what's going on here. They wanted Amnesty. They didn't get Amnesty. So they're trying to force Amnesty on their way out. And they're INTENTIONALLY working to assist the democrats in gaining the majority by depressing republican votes. The answer, as always, show up to vote no matter what and vote for the republican candidate in November! A republican majority without all these guys will be FAR more conservative. Amnesty has been their number one goal, and when they're gone (along with Ryan), Amnesty's DONE forever! Kaput! So ignore their games and show up to vote in November! The answer...

ABU DHABI -- Arab leaders love the idea that President Trump is ready to give Iran a punch in the nose. But is this White House truly serious about challenging Iranian power in the Middle East? The evidence is mixed, at best. I heard passionate enthusiasm for Trump's decision to withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal from prominent Arabs gathered here last weekend for a conference sponsored by the Beirut Institute. They know that scuttling the nuclear deal could be dangerous, and that the region is already a powder keg. But many Arab leaders don't seem to care. To put...
