A man wielding an axe has left at least four people injured on a train after going on a rampage and has been shot by police. The attacker, armed with what is being described as an axe, has left more than four people injured after attacking passengers of a train in Wurzburg Monday evening. The Federal Ministry of the Interior stated that police shot the suspect, and police now say he has been killed.

BNSF has confirmed that the lead locomotives on two intermodal trains collided near Panhandle, TX, this morning, Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at approximately 8:40 a.m. CT. Four BNSF employees were involved in the incident. Local first responders and BNSF personnel were deployed to the scene. By 9:02 a.m., one employee was transported to a local hospital and is being treated. Rescue efforts are underway at the scene with respect to the three other railroad employees involved in the incident.

A man trying to save a dog from an oncoming train was struck and killed after he pushed the dog off the tracks, authorities said.
