I wish I could say this post was unprovoked, but one Democrat wasted no time politicizing the Oklahoma tornado tragedy. They're forcing the point...shamelessly.

(CBS Houston/AP) — Search and rescue crews worked through the night after a monstrous tornado barreled through the Oklahoma City suburbs, demolishing an elementary school and reducing homes to piles of splintered wood. The Gulf of Mexico's warm air is part of the ingredient for tornado alley in the US. The other ingredient in this mix is cool/cold Canadian air. So an interesting little note here. But hours before the storms rolled into Oklahoma, most cell phone service across the state, and specifically in Northeast Oklahoma was cut. No one could make any calls. Texting worked but no calls. Why would this happen BEFORE the storms? I know the government has the ability to turn the service off I am sure. Was this some sort of test to see if they could turn it off.. and during an emergency it was convenient?? So not as many people notice/blamed it on the storms.

The films of the EF-5(?) from yesterday are amazing, scary and gut-wrenching. TV crews have been up all night with rescue workers and first responders.

During CNN’s live coverage of the deadly Oklahoma tornado on Monday night, host Piers Morgan and Bill Nye speculated on the possible role of climate change in the disaster. “As a scientist, when you hear about the size, scale, power, devastation of this tornado, what does it tell you about the ongoing debate about climate change?” Morgan asked his guest.
