WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) — Prosecutors say the case should move forward in adult court against two Wisconsin girls accused of stabbing a classmate to please the horror character Slender Man. In filings late Tuesday, the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office asked the court to find probable cause that both girls committed attempted first-degree homicide. Under Wisconsin law, that charge automatically puts the case in adult court. But defense attorneys want the case moved to juvenile court.
