In a recent interview for his book Aftershock, Wiedemer says, “The data is clear, 50% unemployment, a 90% stock market drop, and 100% annual inflation . . . starting as soon as next year.” When the host questioned such wild claims, Wiedemer unapologetically displayed shocking charts backing up his allegations, and then ended his argument with, “You see, the medicine will become the poison.” The interview has become a wake-up call for those unprepared (or unwilling) to acknowledge an ugly truth: The country’s financial “rescue” devised in Washington has failed miserably.

I stopped reading WND years ago, as well.
I’ve gotten fatigued with this sort of constant drumbeat of looming ruin. From the looks of things it’s not at all unlikely but there’s little I can do personally to change it. Cut debt, live within my means, put back some things for emergencies. Beyond that, it’s worrying yourself into an early grave or at least some kind of anxiety disorder. Now is the time we were given, it’s the hand we were dealt. Live your life, find some joy, love those who are important to you. If it happens, it happens. Souring your todays over some potential future catastrophe is not the key to a happy life.
I can’t wait to see the collapse and him run for his life. Really ugly and really quick.
Look, it should be obvious to anyone with even a basic knowledge of economics that the stage is being set for a massive financial meltdown.
