While growing up, I read a constant litany explaining that Javelina's were not dangerous. I read, over and over, that all the old stories of them attacking humans were old wives tales, not documented, never happened. Hopefully I got this story straight. An elderly gentleman in Nevada shipped a 20"x30" original painting to someone in Alaska. I believe he was passing it on to his daughter. The painting ended up being stolen. I'm not sure the circumstances and this is conjecture on my part, but I suspect the couriers dropped it off at the house and left it while no one was home.
