Dems: Red Light Alert: President Barack Obama’s ally MoveOn, self-described as “one of of the most powerful—and effective—progressive groups in the nationâ€, wants Americans brought under the boot of Islamic Sharia law. MoveOn lists “Keeping Sharia law out of a city near you†on a December 27 email to members as one of the reasons why “the whole Republican field just keeps getting crazierâ€. MoveOn activists are in panic mode that Donald Trump could really get elected.

Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz has named former Williamson County GOP chairman Kevin Kookogey, a critic of Sharia law, as his Tennessee chairman. Now, the U.S. senator is drawing fire from the Council on American-Islamic Relations which on Tuesday urged Cruz to drop Kookogey because of what the group called "his longstanding support for anti-Muslim and Islamophobic causes." In announcing Kookogey's appointment, Cruz on Monday called him "a consistently strong voice for conservative principles and an active member of our party for a number of years. "His experience and knowledge of both the landscape in Tennessee and the issues that...

A new Fox News poll finds 50 percent of voters favor Trump’s ban, while 46 percent are opposed. However, when Trump’s name is removed from the question, support for the plan goes up five points and opposition goes down six: 55 percent favor the unnamed proposal, while 40 percent oppose it. So while voters favor the “Trump†ban by a 4-point margin -- that increases to 15 points when the same ban is not associated with Trump. There are stunning shifts in the responses among Democrats: 45 percent favor banning Muslims if Trump’s name is not mentioned, yet when the...

Donald Trump, a candidate even Republicans once considered a side show, increases his lead yet again in the nomination race, according to the latest Fox News national poll. The poll also finds Ted Cruz ticking up, Marco Rubio slipping, and Ben Carson dropping. Trump hits a high of 39 percent among Republican primary voters, up from 28 percent a month ago. The increase comes mainly from men, white evangelical Christians, and voters without a college degree -- and at the expense of Carson. ... The favorites among white evangelical Christians are Trump (39 percent), Cruz (26 percent) and Carson (12...

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is climbing to his highest support yet in a new national poll. The real estate mogul earned a broad 41 percent support from Republicans and Republican-leaning registered voters in a new national Monmouth University poll released today.

Donald Trump, the leading Republican presidential candidate, called on Dec. 7 for "a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on." Replace one word in this formulation and it goes from outrageous to brilliant. Reacting to massacres by Muslims in Paris and San Bernardino, Trump pointed to a Muslim hatred "beyond comprehension" for the West. Therefore, he concluded, "Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe...

The recent focus, to the extent that there has been one, has been on Islamist terrorists. Terrorists kill people; fortunately, they themselves often die in the process. The cancer of Islamisation brings terrorists to western countries. Worse, it also destroys host civilizations from within. Terrorism is not a necessary component of that process and merely keeping terrorists out will not halt it. European supporters of the tumor have caused it to metastasize and thereby to weaken their civilizations. They are working hard to finish the job; if the process is not stopped, it will eventually kill those civilizations. How about America? Will...

New York--New York Judge Carolyn Walker-Diallo, a Black Muslim woman took oath as a civil court judge in New York on Thursday, while swearing to abide by the U.S. Constitution placing her hand on the Holy Quran. In the United States and the majority of Western countries, politicians and members of the courts are sworn in to their positions while placing their hand on the Holy Bible when they take their oath. However, Judge Walker took her oath respecting the sacred book of her Islamic faith, the Holy Quran, while also wearing a hijab. A video posted on Facebook...

Sarah Palin, former governor of Alaska and vice presidential candidate, took to Facebook to blast a "hypocritical" and "naive" media that gave voice to pundits with a primary agenda of crushing Donald Trump, saying the effort was backfiring. She opened with typical bluntness: "Hey, Media, Try Again To Take Down Trump (and Cruz for Understanding the Trump Context). Herd mentality running rampant with hypocritical and/or naive pundits trying to crush Donald Trump because he's committed to clobbering the bad guys and putting the good guys first. Trump's temporary ban proposal is in the context of doing all we can to...

WASHINGTON/NEW YORK (Reuters) - Donald Trump held onto his commanding lead in the Republican race for the White House after his call for a ban on Muslims entering the United States was condemned worldwide, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, the first national survey conducted entirely after the billionaire's remarks. Trump led the pack of candidates seeking the Republican Party's nomination in the 2016 election with 35 percent of support from Republican voters, the opinion poll released on Friday found, the same lead he held before Monday, when he said Muslim immigrants, students and other travelers should be barred from entering...

In a show of solidarity with the American Muslim community, Martin O'Malley visited a mosque and community center in Sterling, Virginia, on Friday, where he told those in attendance that Donald Trump does not represent the future of the United States. In times of fear and division, the Democratic presidential candidate said at the All Dulles Area Muslim Society, it is easy for "unscrupulous politicians or hate preachers," like Trump, to turn people against each other.

This video is certain to convince ol’ Trump that Islam is a Religion of Peace, and that he should, as Bah Ebou demands, show some more “respect.†Or else. If Trump is circumcised, will he change his mind about Muslim immigration? Warning: strong language, high emotions, and a certain paucity of calm, rational argumentation.

Rep. Steve King (R-IA), who's previously made clear that he doesn't believe immigrants from the Middle East want to assimilate into American culture, wants Muslims who come to the U.S. to reject Sharia law. King made the comments when TPM asked him on Wednesday whether he supported Trump's proposed ban on Muslims entering the U.S. King said he wasn't confident any immigrants from the Middle East would do so, citing what he said was the failure of the only two Muslim members of Congress to renounce Sharia. Sharia law is incompatible with the United States Constitution and so if they...

On Tuesday night’s radio program, Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin addressed the media’s outrage over Donald Trump’s proposal to halt all Muslim immigration to the United States. Levin cut through all the attacks on Mr. Trump to point out that limiting immigration from certain places or for certain people is a perfectly legal, constitutional, and just policy for a sovereign nation to adopt. The United States has done it in the past, and if it’s in America's national security interest, the United States should have a discussion about immigration from the Middle East. Our government's obligation is to American citizens,...

On Friday's Breitbart News Daily (6AM-9AM EST) on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125, former FBI counter-terrorism Special Agent John Guandolo argued that the "vast majority" of the 2,200 Islamic organizations, centers, and mosques in the United States are a part of a broader "Jihadi network" intent on imposing Sharia Law in America. Guandolo told host and Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon that the San Bernardino terrorist, the UC Merced stabber, the Chattanooga shooter, and the Boston Bombers can all be traced back to such Islamic Centers where "they were supported and trained." Guandolo said that the San Bernardino...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: We've got Loretta Lynch -- and the sound bite is coming up -- Loretta Lynch. The attorney general promising to prosecute anyone who criticizes Islam. Anybody who criticizes the religion of peace will be called an Islamophobe, and she has threatened prosecution. Can you imagine the attorney general the United States threatening to prosecute anybody for criticizing Christianity, folks? The people of this country have been bullied into shutting up about everything. The Republican Party has been bullied into silence and shutting up about Obama and the Democrat Party for fear of being called racists, and then...

Rattling around my brain for some time now has been the Manifesto of 1890 by the Church of Latter Day Saints and how it led to the eventual statehood for Utah. Basically, the Manifesto of 1890 had the church strip the polygamy tenets from their religion. Islam in its current form is incompatible with a democratic republic. The United States has a precedence in having a religion change one of its core tenets. Sharia Law could be separated from Islam so that Islam could be compatible with the western world. The problem with this idea though, is that the government...

The recent “clock boy†protests in Texas surrounding one local mosque continue to generate controversy and before everyone headed out for Thanksgiving there was another “incident†in the Lone Star State. One spokesperson for BAIR (the Bureau on American Islamic Relations) went on Facebook and published a list of local Muslims and their supporters who opposed a law which would have forbidden Sharia Law (or any other religious court) supplanting civil authority. I first saw this reported at a link from TPM. The leader of a group of armed anti-Muslim protesters in Texas posted the addresses of dozens of local...

<p>"The big cities in Europe are first places we can see what will happen when the majority is Muslim," warned Sam van Rooy, co-editor of an important new Dutch language book called Islam: Critical Essays on a Political Religion. "We see it in the big cities: Brussels, Amsterdam also, Rotterdam and Antwerp," he said..... "Islam is a fascist ideology, and it's not a religion like Christianity and Judaism," he told CBN News. "The danger in it is that it has a religious side, not like Communism and Nazism, which are only ideologies, but Islam has a bit of both."</p>
