Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) was once seen as a potential dark horse in the GOP presidential primary, but a New York Times report attributed to "three Republicans familiar with his decision, who spoke on condition of anonymity" suggested he plans to drop out of the race Monday evening. Walker has a news conference scheduled for 6 p.m. The Times' Patrick Healy and Alexander Burns wrote that Walker "concluded he no longer has a path to the Republican presidential nomination and plans to drop out of the 2016 campaign." Walker's campaign did not respond to multiple requests for comment from...

'I step aside knowing our party is in good hands,’ the former Texas governor says. After months of struggling to gain traction, former Texas governor Rick Perry on Friday said he is suspending his campaign, becoming the first Republican candidate to drop out of the crowded race for the White House. "We have a tremendous field—the best in a generation—so I step aside knowing our party is in good hands," Perry said, during an appearance before a conservative conference in St. Louis. Perry, who has made his mark on the political landscape as the longest-serving governor in Texas history, in...

WASHINGTON — A special intelligence review of two emails that Hillary Rodham Clinton received as secretary of state on her personal account — including one about North Korea’s nuclear weapons program — has endorsed a finding by the inspector general for the intelligence agencies that the emails contained highly classified information when Mrs. Clinton received them, senior intelligence officials said.

GOP presidential contender Donald Trump's edge with Republican voters is steadily ticking up, and now measures a formidable 66 percent, according to a new survey released Friday. The Rasmussen Reports survey released Friday, shows the new number of Republicans who think it's likely Trump will be the party's nominee is up 7 points, from 59 percent a week ago, and up 10 points, from 56 percent, from two weeks ago. The only chink in the armor, the pollster notes, is that only 26 percent consider a Trump nomination "very likely" compared with 29 percent in the previous survey. When Trump...

The Center for Medical Progress released a new video this morning — the 9th in its series of videos catching the Planned Parenthood abortion business selling aborted babies and their body parts. This latest video catches a Planned Parenthood medical director discussing how the abortion company sells fully intact aborted babies — including one who “just fell out” of the womb. The ninth video in the Planned Parenthood baby parts scandal focuses on Advanced Bioscience Resources, Inc. (ABR), the small and secretive company similar to StemExpress that has harvested and sold fetal body parts at Planned Parenthood clinics longer than...

Donald Trump, the GOP frontrunner, hit the 40 percent marker in a recent Gravis Marketing poll. According to a report, this is the first time a candidate has reached above the 30 percent mark. Trump, Carson, and Fiorina three of the top five GOP presidential candidates, have never held office. The Gravis results were as follows: Donald Trump – 40.1% Ben Carson – 13% Jeb Bush –...

Kelly File host Megan Kelly announced Wednesday night that she would be taking a week-and-a-half “vacation.” Kelly has been getting chewed on since her stint as a moderator in this cycle’s first Republican debate and it’s starting to get personal. […] After she announced her vacation, many took to Twitter to share their theories that her “vacation” may, in fact, be a suspension…

Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton announced Tuesday that she had directed her aides to turn over her personal e-mail server to the Justice Department, giving in to months of demands that she relinquish the device she used to store her correspondence while secretary of state. The move came hours after it was disclosed that the inspector general for the intelligence community, I. Charles McCullough III, had notified senior members of Congress that two of four retroactively classified emails found on Clinton's server contained material deemed to be more sensitive than had previously been thought. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley,...

Following receipt today of a memorandum from Intelligence Community Inspector General Charles McCullough stating that two of the forty emails his office had been allowed to review from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server contained information that was classified at the Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information level, Senate Judiciary Chairman Charles Grassley (R.-Iowa) released a copy of the IG’s memo and a statement. “The congressional notification provided by the Intelligence Community Inspector General said more specifically that two of the four emails that the office had previously described as ‘above Secret’ were, in fact, classified at the Top...

Donald J.Trump suggested he supported shutting down the federal government to stop funding for Planned Parenthood in the wake of videos that show officials with the group discussing fees for tissue from aborted fetuses. In an interview with conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt on Monday, as the Senate voted down a measure to stop federal financing for the group, Mr. Trump called the clips “disgraceful.” Mr. Trump cited the efforts to shut down the government in order to halt funding for the Affordable Care Act, a movement in 2013 led by Senator Ted Cruz, Republican of Texas and a candidate...

Puerto Rico just went into default for the first time in its history. The commonwealth paid a mere $628,000 toward a $58 million debt bill due Monday to creditors of its Public Finance Corporation. This will hurt the island's residents, not Wall Street. The debt is mostly owned by ordinary Puerto Ricans through credit unions. "This was a decision that reflects the serious concerns about the Commonwealth's liquidity in combination with the balance of obligations to our creditors and the equally important obligations to the people of Puerto Rico," Puerto Rico's Government Development Bank president Melba Acosta Febo said in...

On Friday, we checked in on the Pentagon’s ongoing effort to recruit, vet, and train ambitious "freedom fighters" to join the battle against ISIS in Syria. It goes without saying that covert US efforts to aid the multifarious groups vying for control of the country have met with disastrous consequences so far, but if there’s anything Washington is particularly adept at, it’s making bad foreign policy outcomes worse, which is why we weren’t at all surprised to learn that the commander of the Pentagon's new Syrian "force" was captured, along with his deputy, by al-Qaeda affiliate al-Nusra last week near...

A California court has ordered the pro-life Center for Medical Progress, the group behind a series of videos exposing Planned Parenthood for haggling over the price of aborted baby parts, to desist from released any new footage exposing the practice. At this point, CMP has released three videos showing a series of conversations about how much money Planned Parenthood receives for certain parts of a baby's aborted body....

A second shocking video in as many weeks has been released showing a top Planned Parenthood official discussing and arranging the sale of body parts of aborted babies. The first video shows Planned Parenthood Federation of AmericaÂ’s Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, describing how Planned Parenthood sells the body parts of aborted unborn children and admitting she uses partial-birth abortions to supply intact body parts. In this video, Mary Gatter, the Medical director at Planned Parenthood Pasadena and San Gabriel Valley in Calfiornia, discusses selling aborted baby body parts with undercover investigators posing as officials with a biotech...
