In case you missed the live stream. Not as in depth as I would have liked him to be...no particulars.
(Excerpt) Read more at youtube.com ...
He went a little into detail on how he would remake the VA including that if the VA wasn’t getting the job done, he would send the veterans to private doctors and hospitals.
And he said he would have plans soon on how he plans to rebuild the military.
Wasn’t this billed as a major policy speech on defense?
It wasn’t.
He needs to come out, at some point, with a serious presentation on defense and other issues.
It is still early in the campaign.
Great!!!!
I am almost thru his book, The Art of the Deal, I understand now what he is doing even better than I thought he was doing...
You can’t beat him!!!
Trump’s a kook! Trump’s a Hillary plant! < /FR GOPe wing >
NO, it wasn’t billed as that.
He is coming out with major policy positions—I think his economic plan next, then the military.
He’s really pretty much on the usual political schedule for doing this, as general candidate intros tend to come first.
But his detractors have tried to make an issue of it in his case.
What is he doing?
This seemed to be a short speech - I thought given the location it would have been important.
I read it when it first came out decades ago, and would be interested in what you found that is relevant to his campaign.
It’s all ‘bushes’ fault!!!!
My son watched this speech and thinks this guy’s awesome. (It’s only the second that he’s seen)
Trump’s got a Gen-X man who’s going to make it a point to vote in the primaries now.
I actually thought it was one of his best.
What a cool ship. Cue up the “Victory at Sea” overture.
This was a fundraiser for the Veterans For A Strong America organization.
They asked Donald Trump to be the guest speaker, and he accepted.
Definitely not a Trump 2016 sponsored or organized event.
He helped the vets and organization out tonight!
Mission Accomplished ~
Trump snags endorsement from vets group during speech aboard USS Iowa
Love Trump but he is dead wrong about Japan not wanting US beef . http://www.agrimoney.com/news/japanese-beef-imports-to-drop-further-than-thought—8232.html
They invited him there so the group of Vets could endorse him for President. First time they have endorsed before the primaries
That was great, and Trump wasn’t expecting that either...
He was just there to say a few words on his plans, which he is holding close to his vest right now, to let the Vets know they WILL be taken care of!!!
I didn’t know that. Thanks for the info.
Glad he could help the vets...a great cause that hardly anyone was talking about before.
I hate our incompetent government. All they care about is keeping their power so they can make more money for themselves.
