Friday morning could be the beginning of the end of the “Occupy Wall Street” demonstration. On Thursday, Brookfield Office Management employees were passing out notices to protesters, who have been camped out for 26 days, saying that tarps, sleeping bags and tents are all prohibited in the park, as is lying on the ground and on benches when it becomes an interference for others. CBS 2 learned late Thursday night the protestors are preparing in case they cannot base their operations out of Zuccotti Park anymore. (CNN) - Members of the Westboro Baptist Church announced Thursday plans to picket Saturday's funeral for Elizabeth Edwards in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Kansas-based Church - monitored by anti-hate groups such as the Anti-Defamation league and the Southern Poverty Law Center - is known for its extremist opposition to homosexuals, Jews and other groups. The church members also oppose the War in Iraq. According to the church's website, members will hold a protest from 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Indianapolis - There are new developments in the case of suspects robbing older women who are leaving grocery stores and targeting victims in handicapped parking spaces. Police arrested Ashley Spraddling Tuesday night. She had been on the run. Investigators say Laritha Martin already confessed to three strong-armed robberies. Police say the suspects watched handicapped parking spaces for possible victims like Mary. She was at the Aldi store on East Washington Street on March 20th. In a complete reversal from his stance Tuesday, Sen. Chris Dodd admitted he inserted language into the federal stimulus bill allowing $165 million in bonuses to those AIG executives. Citigroup is reneging on a promise it made to tens of millions of credit card customers in good times.
