My son is in great spiritual and emotional pain right now. His faith is strong, but he does not understand how he is allowed to suffer without relief. He interprets all of his suffering in spiritual terms, which is probably a mistake. I do not fear suicide. My son and I have talked about this and it is not in his mind. I do ask your prayers, that his doctor find medication that works, that my son be able to deal with his sadness and anxiety, and that he be guarded from all evil spirits.
