A Sudanese woman who was sentenced to death for renouncing Islam has been freed from detention for a second time. Meriam Ibrahim has now sought sanctuary at the American embassy in the capital Khartoum. Speaking exclusively to the BBC she thanked the Sudanese people for standing by her.
