The death of one suspected bomber and the capture of the other on Friday in the Boston Marathon bombing may not be the end of arrests in the case. Yesterday afternoon, FBI and DHS agents arrived at the same New Bedford apartment complex where they had detained three people in the Friday manhunt for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, this time taking two away in handcuffs: Agents wearing FBI and Department of Homeland Security jackets detained two men at the Hidden Brook apartment complex just hours after releasing three people believed to be associated with Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.A neighbor who...

HBO host Bill Maher debates guest Brian Levy, the director of the Center for the Study of Hate & Extremism at California State University in San Bernardino, about the Boston Marathon Bombers' Muslim faith playing a role in their terrorism "It's not like people who are Muslim who do wacky things have a monopoly on it," Levy claimed. "We have hypocrites across faiths, Jewish, Christian who say they're out for God and end up doing not so nice things." Maher, true to form, called his guest out and said his premise was "liberal bullshit."

I heard Mark Steyn go through a step-wise liberal media set of evil-doers that seem to be thematic in all of these types of terror events. I am trying to find a written/published run-through which went something like this: First blamed is right-wing talk radio, then: Right-wing white males Christian activists Tea Party Then, as Islam is implicated... Must be a lone wolf Must be just a small group Might have been radicalized by a Muslim cleric Might be Islam-themed, but couldn't be al-Qaeda since they are on the run... Just trying to get Steyn's excellent list right...

The entire storyline of the two men responsible for the horrible terrorist attack during the Boston Marathon has me completely stunned. These two radicals, picked a very public event and a location they knew would be filled with people, including children, and decided they wanted to kill Americans. Yet, in all the coverage, the phrase all media avoided like the plague, was the one that was the most obvious and readily known: they were Islamic extremists. First here's a little bit of history just to refresh the minds of the media and those others out there who think these very...

Many are wondering why the FBI overlooked the potential danger posed by now-deceased bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev in 2011 after they interviewed him. According to reports, the bureau failed to find any incriminating evidence of terrorist ties. "As first reported by CBS News correspondent Bob Orr, the FBI interviewed Tsarnaev, the elder brother of at-large bombing suspect Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, at the request of a foreign government to see if he had any extremist ties, but failed to find any linkage." "Both Tsarnaev brothers were legal permanent residents of the U.S. There is no evidence so far that either brother...

As the news broke of the explosions at the Boston Marathon on Monday, I thought how horrific and tragic it was that people trained all year for a race that ended for some in the loss of limbs or even death. Just as my heart went out to the victims of such terrifying violence, my mind raced to thoughts of the perpetrator: “Please don’t be Muslim,” I muttered to myself, joining what seemed to be a global chorus of Muslims on social media, fearing the kinds of ethnic and religious profiling that could fuel calls for violent reprisals against entire...

Ryan Mauro just wrote an article about the younger brother's mosque, and its affiliation with the Muslim Brotherhood. Here's an excerpt. Dzhokar Tsarnaev, who has been arrested for the terrorist bombings in Boston, attended the Islamic Society of Boston (ISB) in Cambridge, a mosque with strong Muslim Brotherhood links. The ISB Cultural Center, which is at a separate location, is even run by a group that federal prosecutors said in 2008 “was founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.” An ISB attendee reports last seeing Tsarnaev there during Ramadan last year. It is unclear if his...

"Progressive" doesn't mean what you think it means. Islamism is winning the cognitive war -- thanks to manipulative and gullible journalists

The Tarnaev brothers were cruelly successful, but they are far from the only terrorists over the past decade with big ideas about carnage in America. There is a temptation with each act of terror to see it as an isolated act, connected to the mental state of the actor, but not to larger forces. The FBI used to have theories about "Sudden Jihad Syndrome" and "Lone Wolves" that were not only wrong, but also pulled law enforcement off the track. "Sudden Jihad Syndrome" was invented by the FBI to explain why people who lived quietly in the United States for...

Now that we know who the bombers are and one of them is dead, and that they are Chechen Muslims, the media has gone into “Palestinian” mode insisting that we need to talk about the conflict in Chechnya. We can talk about Chechnya, but the issue there and everywhere else is Islamic nationalism or Islamism. The bombers could have been from Chechnya or Mali or Bosnia or Iraq or Egypt or Afghanistan or any Muslim country where Islamists are active. And that’s most Muslim countries, especially after the Arab Spring. There is a conflict in Chechnya and Iraq and Pakistan...

...Perhaps someday, we'll live in a country where political partisans' first reaction after every shooting and bombing is NOT to blame their political adversaries -- and yes, there are some conservatives who say such things, but I'm especially thinking of certain liberals here who live with the smug certainty that most or all of their political adversaries are just Tim McVeighs waiting to happen. The funniest part is that they probably look down their noses at those who crudely (and wrongly) stereotype all Muslims as terrorists. Please remove the plank from your own eye, brother, then remove the speck from...

As I watch the events of last evening and this morning unfold surrounding the Boston Marathon bombing I am left with the feeling of vindication -- The bombing suspects were foreign terrorists and not an American white guy. Coincidently, watching the live video footage of the events one cannot help but notice a) That well over 90% of the law enforcement officers involved in apprehending these suspects are white males and b) They are the ones defending the public. But who are your going to believe, the left-stream media or your lying eyes? We white males have been disparaged, mischaracterized,...

Grover Norquist, champion of Islamism infiltration, is working to advance the cause of tax reform by backing an illegal alien amnesty that will impose a whopping economic burden on the country… leading to higher taxes. The contradiction is obvious. If you’re going to legalize 12 million undocumented Democrats plus all their family members then you are tremendously boosting the welfare state on the receiving end and the voting end. The only way that the pro-amnesty side can win the amnesty debate is by not having it. And that means going after any sources of facts and taking them down. The...

Grover Norquist is known as an anti-tax crusader, but in the coming weeks he will be just as much a pro-immigration crusader, combatting what he calls the “bitter enders” who oppose comprehensive immigration reform. Norquist says that he’s trying to counteract the effect of “a handful of radio talk-show hosts who talk loudly.” “The bitter-enders who are still responding to radio talk-show hosts from eight years ago haven’t noticed that the world has shifted from underneath them,” he says. “The people who need cover are the guys who are still voting like they were Pat Buchanan.” Advertisement Norquist’s group, Americans...

FSA jihadist rebels are now using the most advanced sniper rifle available today. The AS-50 is used by the Navy SEALS and will penetrate steel and concrete from an extremely long range. How long before this rifle is used to kill Israeli soldiers patrolling the Syrian border, FSA rebels have already started taking potshots at patrolling Israeli Soldiers in the past week, imagine what they can do now with the mother of all urban warfare Sniper rifles in their possession?. We know that the most of the weapons that the U.S is funneling to the FSA ends up in the...

Fears of the “Ikhwanization” of the Egyptian army have been raised after Egyptian Military Academy Director Major General Esmat Murad revealed that students with links to the Muslim Brotherhood or Salafist political factions have been accepted into the academy, including President Mohamed Mursi’s own nephew. An Egyptian soldier, speaking to Asharq Al-Awsat on the condition of anonymity, revealed that “for the first time, students whose families or relatives are involved in political activism, whether for the Muslim Brotherhood or anybody else, are being accepted into the Egyptian armed forces which had traditionally investigated the [political] background of recruits, rejecting those...

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX 5) – A controversy has been re-ignited this week as ten new ads go up on San Francisco Muni buses containing quotes used by terrorists. “Killing Jews is worship that draws us closer to Allah,” reads one of the ads, which has people debating the line between free speech and hate speech. “The purpose of our campaign is to show the reality of Jihad, the root causes of terrorism. Using the exact quotes and text that they use,” said Pamela Geller of the American Freedom Defense Institute.

(CNN) -- Osama bin Laden's son-in-law, who has served as an al Qaeda spokesman, was captured and has been brought to the United States, two administration officials and a federal law enforcement official said Thursday. Sulaiman Abu Ghaith is being held in New York, and will appear in court Friday to face federal charges, the law enforcement official said. A sealed indictment lays out charges against him, the administration officials said.
