As a Democrat, Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu is running up against the late stages of partisan realignment. But while the rise of the GOP in the South may end her political career, nobody has ever confused Landrieu for a political neophyte, or accused her of misunderstanding the essence of Louisiana politics. A Saturday evening a workshop is being sponsored by Reverend Al Sharpton and his National Action Network as part of the Justice for Michael Brown weekend in north St. Louis County. The workshop focused on police brutality and laws that need to be changed that enable police brutality according to the National Action Network. I read a shocking headline today: "Ex-Con: Most Black Youths See Obama As 'Deadbeat' Leader." Is this an obvious outlier, or could there be something to this?
