After another busy day in Washington on Tuesday, the president and first lady slipped out for a low-key dinner at the home of Vice President Mike Pence and his wife Karen. First Lady Melania was typically stylish in a black lace cocktail dress and black leather pointed pumps. She wore a pair of large black sunglasses as she made her way through the evening heat and into the waiting car behind her husband.

Melania Trump’s latest look is a departure from the bright look she wore earlier this week at the White House. After wearing a light blue Michael Kors dress and floral Christian Louboutin pumps to meet with the president of Panama and his wife, she was spotted on Tuesday night wearing a black, long-sleeve lace Dolce & Gabbana dress that hit at her knees. She paired the dress with what appeared to be Manolo Blahnik’s BB pumps, although that’s not confirmed. President Donald Trump and Melania were on their way to dinner at the Naval Observatory, where Vice President Mike Pence...

The Trump White House may be the single most inconsistent Presidential administration in American history. Nothing stays the same at 1600 Pennsylvania for more than 24 hours, and that includes the President’s hairstyle. But there is one constant, one island of sanity in the churning oceans of Trumpian DC life, marred further by media, White House officials, Sean Spicer press briefings, old Russians, fidget spinners, and Twitter. Melania. Melania Trump is as radiant as Paul Ryan is ripped. As Bernie Sanders is woke. As Steve Bannon is pre-diabetic. Every time she steps out of the official residence or off Marine...

First Lady Melania Trump turned to her favorite designer, Dolce & Gabbana, for a visit to the U.S. Supreme Court Thursday, where she and President Donald Trump attended the investiture ceremony for Justice Neil Gorsuch. Paired with a subdued black pencil skirt and black, closed-toe stilettos, Melania was fashion forward in a more than $2,300 sleeveless wool jacket with a bejeweled buckle in the back by Dolce & Gabbana, the First Lady’s favorite Italian fashion house. The jacket is from D&G’s Spring-Summer 2017 collection and can be seen in the photo Melania posted of the ceremony on her Instagram account:

The hamlet of Sevnica, population 5,000, sits right in the middle of the small, alpine nation of Slovenia, in a green valley along the Sava River, surrounded by pine-forested hills. "It's really an amazing climate," chirps Lidija Ogorevc, a cheerleader-peppy tour guide here. "You should try our wine, our salami." She stops in front of a fenced-in building — not unattractive, but clearly closed. "A cultural monument," she declares. This used to be the factory where Amalija Knavs, the mother of Melania Trump, designed children's clothes decades ago, when Slovenia was still part of Yugoslavia. The first lady, born Melanija...

These days, every time I sit down to write about the clothes worn by a political figure, I have to take a deep breath. I wrote this week about the image engineering of the first lady, Melania Trump, as she accompanied her husband on his first trip abroad, and I know pretty soon the hate tweets are going to start flooding in. “You idiot, why are you writing about what they wear!” “How dare you normalize them!” “Oh, right: Clothes are so much more important than the budget, you airhead.” And so on.

Boxing dresses arrive at the White House daily from fashion houses that have just been elected president to her husband, turned her back on the US First Lady. But now Melania takes her vengeance, as the famous fashion houses that had refused to dress her at her husband's swearing ceremony because of her policy suddenly want to approach her to make her "muse". The monkeys who had put it on the "red list" are quite big names like Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, Christian Siriano, Sophie Theallet. However, on her husband's first international tour, Melania triumphed stylishly and without...

Melania Trump is proving to the fashion designers who said they wouldn’t help her that dressing well is the best revenge. The first lady’s trip to Saudi Arabia, the Vatican, Belgium and Sicily — wearing mostly Dolce & Gabbana — was a fashion tour de force that has forced many naysayers in the rag trade to rethink. The list of designers who said they wouldn’t dress Melania is long, led by Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, Christian Siriano and Sophie Theallet. But Melania has managed to look smashing in dozens of different ensembles, from her white Ralph Lauren jumpsuit...

As the overseas debut of President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump draws to a close -- the couple is set to return to Washington this weekend -- there was the usual bluster and bravado from the President. His white-knuckled handshake with France's new president made headlines. The speech to NATO was memorable, as was his brusque, push-aside of the leader of Montenegro to make his way to the front of a pack of world leaders. It was classic, unadulterated Trump, a man the country has come to know for all of the above quirks, mannerisms and machismo. But...

Akie Abe, the wife of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe also went for florals but her pretty peplum dress couldn't compete with the First Lady's wow factor as they...

Melania Trump did a quick change before meeting Queen Mathilde of Belgium at the Royal Castle of Laeken on Thursday evening. Earlier in the day, the 47-year-old donned a leather skirt suit by Belgian designer Maison Ullens and Manolo Blahnik snakeskin heels to visit to a children's hospital before meeting a group of NATO spouses, including French First Lady Brigitte Macron, to tour the Magritte Museum in Brussels. And while Brigitte, 64, and a few of the other women opted to leave on what they wore to the museum, Melania slipped on an off-the-shoulder, black lace gown and scrappy stiletto...
