Boxing dresses arrive at the White House daily from fashion houses that have just been elected president to her husband, turned her back on the US First Lady.
But now Melania takes her vengeance, as the famous fashion houses that had refused to dress her at her husband's swearing ceremony because of her policy suddenly want to approach her to make her "muse".
The monkeys who had put it on the "red list" are quite big names like Tom Ford, Marc Jacobs, Zac Posen, Christian Siriano, Sophie Theallet. However, on her husband's first international tour, Melania triumphed stylishly and without them. She managed to stand out by wearing other great names like Ralph Lauren, Dolce & Gabbana, Maison Ullens, Stella McCartney.
The stake for Melanie has risen as she is the only First Lady to come from the world of fashion. It seems that the first trip of US President Donald Trump abroad gave her several 'points'. From the costume side, Melania was the absolute protagonist.
The "First Lady" of the United States came out of her "cocoon", showed her unparalleled style, but also her social face.
At the last stop on the Sicilian tour, where Trump was attending the G7 Summit, Melanie Tramp overshadowed her counterparts by choosing to put on a Dolce & Gabbana coat worth $ 51,500.
Dunno if it’s original or Google, but I really enjoyed the “monkeys” comment.
I refer the term shaved apes.
“...the famous fashion houses that had refused to dress her at her husband’s swearing ceremony because of her policy suddenly want to approach her to make her “muse”.
They want to make her be absorbed in thought?

Google translate leaves a lot to be desired. I think they want her to become their inspiration (muse), so they can dress her and capitalize on the exposure that would bring to their clothing lines.
First of all: Our First Lady Melania is a woman, mother, wife, step mother and grandmother to Don Jr. and Ivanka’s children...
Second of all: She is a beautiful woman inside and out and graces our Nation in the highest esteem that other people just can not do...
We are so PROUD to call her our First Lady!!!
Oh, OK, that first line was cracking me up!
Another take from overseas.
I couldn’t make heads or tails out of the first paragraph. And their repeated misspelling of our dear FLOTUS’ name kind of irked me, too.
Melanie Tramp ???
Our First Lady would do well to wear all brands. . .even from WalMart. She radiates class and beauty in all of her outfits. I think there are a lot of jealous women out there that might as well join the admiration crowd.
I didn’t think the list of boycotters of the FLOTUS sounded like any group of “famous” fashion houses, but what do I know? They sound mostly like a bunch of pathetic wannabes, although I have heard of a couple of them.
Made my head hurt.
She was in the world of fashion and boy does she understand it. The people who made asses of themselves saying that they wouldn't dress her must now watch as other fashion designers products are exposed to worldwide attention and applause. Stupid hurts.
Our FLOTUS could make a potato sack look elegant.
A couple days ago, I went to mom’s to look through 70s dress patterns. Sure enough, we have many that Melania is wearing. The shiny silver dress she wore last week, I made in orange back in high school. The black one with the buttons she wore a few days ago with the big mismatched buttons is perfect for a project to use up buttons and mom happened to be wearing a similar pattern.
You totally picked the wrong dictionary definition.
A little knowledge... etc.
We are so PROUD to call her our First Lady!!!
LOL, after 8 years of The Moose, you win the “all time understatement on Free Republic Award”.
Melania puts a smile on my face every time I see her. She’s gorgeous and smart!
Honestly, did any woman ever see Michelle dressed and want to go out and buy it? I sure didn’t. Even if it was kind of nice she ruined it.
