Dr. David Dao, 69, who was captured in a now-viral video being forcibly dragged off the Louisville-bound flight at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport on Sunday, was working as a doctor specializing in pulmonary disease in Elizabethtown when he was convicted of trading prescription drugs for sex favors. According to documents filed with the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure, Dao was arrested in 2003 on the drug-related offenses following an undercover investigation.

A former University of Oklahoma football player has been arrested for allegedly 'pimping out' an ex-cheerleader. Lawrence 'LJ' Moore, a 22-year-old former defensive back who played two games with the Sooners in 2013, was arrested after Micah Madison Parker was caught offering sex in exchange for $200 to an undercover cop in a hotel room. Prosecutors announced the arrest of four people connected to the Orange County-based enterprise that allegedly placed thousands of ads for sexual services in 29 states over the past two years. At least 42 suspects were arrested in during a sting targeting human and sex trafficking in Memphis, Tennessee, police said. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, in a release, said that 38 men and four women were arrested, which included “eight men responding to the ads tried to buy sex from a minor.” Meanwhile, “those arrested include a medical professional, engineers, a law student, a tow truck driver and construction workers,” the TBI added. A married man was convicted Tuesday of murder and kidnapping in the 2007 death of a single mother from Colorado who led a double life as a paid escort. A judge sentenced 65-year-old Lester Ralph Jones to life in prison without parole after the jury delivered its verdict, according to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel.
