He is still on a ventilator, feeding tube, and in a coma. But his body temperature has been in the normal range for a couple of days now - PTL. After some patience causing delays in their departure, his parents are leaving today for Germany and will have more to say in a day or two. The last update was that the medical folks caring for Alex would like to see him on a plane back to a hospital here in the states by Friday. Please pray for my wife's mother. She made it to 84 years last week with the blessing of our Lord. Unfortunately her lungs don't have much more to give. My wife is very upset and all your prayers are appreciated. Thank you.

Prayer request for my first ex-wife. Last I heard, they were trying to set up surgery to remove her appendix. She is in hospital.Yeah, I know, ex... but she is the mother of my children and my grandbabies grandmother. The old gal could use some prayers.

We lost another FReeper last week - Waco. His sister GrannyK wanted to post about it. He was very active on FR until May of this year when he entered the hospital. He was an Air Force veteran (74 yrs young) & very conservative.

I have a good friend who let me know his nephew was, once again, in the hospital this week. He's had a life full of hospital stays and doctors. Poor little guy was born with just one lung and has just one kidney. He's autistic and and has also been recently diagnosed with Tourrett's. His blood pressure is very elevated and they are keeping him in the hospital for awhile.

This is a prayer request for my youngest daughter who has been diagnosed with an agressive breast cancer and is facing a bilateral mastectomy this wendesday followed in 2 weeks with removal of her ovaries. Unfourtunatly breast cancer runs in the female side of the family. Her Mother is a 20 year survivor but her Grandmother and Greataunt passed away from it. Any and all prayers are welcome.

My sister has been diagnosed with breast cancer, stage 1. An MRI was followed up by a biopsy at a clinic in Brooklyn after she detected lump. I don't know if she has seen a cancer specialist yet. She is having a tough time just communicating. She just started a job 3 months ago, and her company health insurance is not in effect. So, no help there. This really isn't my thing, but I thought I'd reach out to a great community for some support. My grandfather is going through an operation, maybe two, to clear out his arteries. From Onyx over the weekend: "My 17 year old grandson, Brady is at Georgetown Hospital, Grand Cayman Island, in ICU with severe head injuries .. a distracted driver using a cell phone crashed into Brady and his Dad on their scooter. Prayer Request for freepers MamaBear and JKPhoto’s son, Dave. During a physical for an upcoming job in Angola, a mass was discovered in one of his kidneys. His kidney and the tumor (which the urologist believes has an 80% chance of being malignant) will be removed sometime next week. My second FReeper baby, Pamela Ann, was born 9:48 AM CST 15 May.  Weight: 7 pounds 15.9 ounces she was 20 inches long and her score on Apgar was 9/10.   Mom and baby doing well! Thanks for continued prayers for mom and baby!
