I don’t think I need to say too much here. They videos speak for themselves pretty nicely. But I’ll make these two observations: The RNC prayer makes multiple mentions of Jesus and acknowledges His lordship, while not mentioning any political candidate a single time. DNC mentions: Hillary 1, Jesus 0. I am quite aware that different churches have different styles of worship, but even urban Pentecostal churches don’t whoop and holler during prayer. Every other time, you bet, but not during prayer.

OK, finally I will give an update on my breast cancer. Any advice/guidance appreciated regarding my specific history! Anyone who matches me would love to hear from. I'm 47 now, BTW. *I have a history of a pulm. embolism a month after major surgery on the gut the other year, while still on birth control (they yanked me off after that).

Please if you can spare a prayer, pray for my mom. She has flown with her two caregivers across the country to bury her husband, my dad, who just passed away due to Alzheimer's. Mom has Alzheimer's too. She is confused and discombobulated, and now apparently also has a stomach virus, very sick tonight. One of her caregivers has caught it too. Dad's funeral is tomorrow afternoon. Please pray she and everyone will be OK.

Don-o's Mama, my mother-in-law, Irene, who just celebrated her 90th birthday, happy, healthy, with all the family, was found unresponsive at home following a probable cardiac arrest. She was rushed to the hospital this afternoon and put on a ventilator, but her prognosis is extremely poor. Sometime rather soon--- maybe it's a matter of hours, though only God knows --- we expect she will pass from this life to the next. Dr. Ben Carson has just announced he is suspending his run for the presidency temporarily. Some of his staff members were in a serious accident today… one of them is in grave condition.
