Cranston, Rhode Island federal judges and the school board members have voted to remove prayer banner at the public high school

CRANSTON, Rhode Island (Reuters) - A Rhode Island school board voted on Thursday to comply with a federal court order to remove a prayer banner that has been displayed in a public high school for nearly a half century, saying the cash-strapped district cannot face a costly appeal.

I have received an email from Binyamin L. Jolkovsky, Editor in Chief of Jewish World Review. He's requesting prayers for Yisroel ben Chana Tzirel, a rabbinic mentor of his. This is someone who has been more like a father to him, and is considered to be among the most prominent Orthodox rabbis in America.
