When you wake up Monday morning and find yourself struggling to get out of bed – chances are you hate your job. When you wake up Tuesday morning and find yourself full of hope – chances are it’s election day and you’ll be heading for the polls to pull the lever for change. When you wake up Wednesday morning jumping with joy – chances are you have gotten the word, your man Obama has won the election. When you wake up Thursday morning – chances are you won’t need to get out of bed because you lost your job yesterday...

The health care bill, aka Socialized Medicine, is going to pass in one form or another unless We the People do something about it. Since they ignored the Tea Parties and the DC 9/12 rally, short of armed resistance, the only thing that will make a dent in their thick skulls is the loss of their political careers in Washington as of the next election. If they vote for the health care bill, they will be on the “They voted for it” political Hit List. Thereafter, We the People, will do all in our power to wholeheartedly support whomever runs...

Sarah Palin has said the United States should rededicate itself to seeking God's will. The former US vice-presidential candidate argued that a humble spirit could help leaders to get more answers on issues such as health care, energy and national security. In a video released Friday by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, the 2008 Republican candidate for vice president, said it was important for leaders to recognise they don't have all the answers. Mrs Palin said: "No one person has all the right answers. It takes a united nation, and it does take godly counsel, and it takes prayer and...

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (Catholic Online)- The following letter was written by the mother of three children to the President of the United States: An open letter to Mr. Obama I will not address you as Mr. President. I question whether you are fit to lead anyone. What I have learned today is the very last straw. I cannot even give you the benefit of the doubt any longer. Frankly, I feel foolish for ever being inclined to do so. We have endured a great deal from you in one short year, and it is simply too much to bear any longer....

A Fox news panel discusses why, in "fixing the economy", sometimes the cure can be worse than the disease! "The economy thrives on predictability and this administration is unpredictable!" says Ben Stein. "This job summit for so-called small businesses didn't have a small business there! How stupid is that?" says Charles Payne.

There has been call among conservatives for Sarah Palin to weigh in on the climate gate scandal, and tonight she has. Via her favorite forum for chiming in on the national conversation, Facebook, she has issued the following statement: The president's decision to attend the international climate conference in Copenhagen needs to be reconsidered in light of the unfolding Climategate scandal. The leaked e-mails involved in Climategate expose the unscientific behavior of leading climate scientists who deliberately destroyed records to block information requests, manipulated data to "hide the decline" in global temperatures, and conspired to silence the critics of man-made...

In her 2006 run for governor, Sarah Palin took advantage of public uproar over Frank Murkowski’s expensive state-purchased jet which had become emblematic of the waste and abuse of good-old-boy politics. She said the governor didn’t need it. And as soon as she got elected, she sold it. In the run-up to 2012, Palin perhaps has found a similar object of public distain to use to her advantage should she run for president: The much-ridiculed teleprompter. In what had to be a blow to teleprompter manufacturers everywhere, the former governor and now best-selling author spoke to a large audience in...

Pope Leo XIII on True LibertyA Great Pontiff Condemns a Modern ErrorMICHAEL DAVIES IN his encyclical letter Libertas, Pope Leo XIII warns that there are certain so-called liberties which modern society takes for granted that every man possesses as a right. These are the liberties "which the followers of liberalism so eagerly advocate and proclaim." (The terms freedom and liberty will be considered synonymous for the purposes of this article; the Latin word libertas is expressed by either, depending on the translator.) The essence of liberalism is that the individual human being has the right to decide for himself the...

Obama mentions "climate change" and three people clap(2:30). "From the day I was sworn in, it's been all about jobs"(3:00). He's going to control health care costs(4:10)! Feel better? Obama says "I think there a lot of opportunities for us to increase exports and jobs here in the U.S. WITHOUT US SPENDING ANY MONEY!!!!!!" (5:00) Whoa, Barry went off script there for a second! Shhh! After watching this speech, can any liberal still make the arguement that Obama is infinitely more intellegent than Sarah Palin (as the libs maintain)?

Yesterday, I listened to President Obama say these words. Despite the progress we’ve made, many businesses are still skittish about hiring. Some are still digging themselves out of the losses they incurred over the past year. Many have figured out how to squeeze more productivity out of fewer workers. And that cost-cutting has become embedded in their operations and in their culture. That may result in good profits, but it’s not translating into hiring and so that’s the question that we have to ask ourselves today: How do we get businesses to start hiring again? From the perspective of an...

Scott Baker from Breitbart-TV.com and Co-Host of ‘The B-Cast‘ submitted this shocking report today on Obama’s deviant Safe Schools Czar Kevin Jennings. —-Warning on Content—– I was recently approached by a team of independent researchers that I have known for some time and have come to trust. They prepared this report involving ‘Safe Schools Czar’ Kevin Jennings and the organization he founded, GLSEN, and asked that I find a way to help draw attention to what they uncovered. Knowing that Gateway Pundit has followed Kevin Jennings since his appointment, as we have on The B-Cast (here, here, and here), and...

The unemployment rate and the skyrocketing deficit are the most serious problems facing the nation, something everyday Americans have known for quite a while. However, rather than take quick, sensible action to spur job creation, our elected leaders have been wasting time on ideological issues like health care reform and cap-and-trade, two measures that are not at a crisis level, and two measures guaranteed to increase unemployment. Then on Wednesday, President Obama convened a Jobs Summit to talk about ways to create jobs. Fox News reported that “Obama sought fresh ideas from the 130 corporate executives, small business owners and...

Barbera Boxer says "opponents of climate change who have "failed" at rebuking it's backdrop of undisputed "solid" science are now using stolen emails to attack climate scientists directly". As if!!! This corruptive, vacuous thinking on Boxer's part of overlooking evidence, which reveals proir deceit and misinformation, exposes her rock solid personal agenda. It's all about money- billions in fact! This, in my opinion, violates her oath as a Senator which is to serve the people "us" instead of special interest groups/agenda. It's quite sickening, in fact!

Voters have every right to ask candidates for information if they so choose. I’ve pointed out that it was seemingly fair game during the 2008 election for many on the left to badger my doctor and lawyer for proof that Trig is in fact my child. Conspiracy-minded reporters and voters had a right to ask... which they have repeatedly. But at no point – not during the campaign, and not during recent interviews – have I asked the president to produce his birth certificate or suggested that he was not born in the United States.

The president’s decision to attend the international climate conference in Copenhagen needs to be reconsidered in light of the unfolding Climategate scandal. The leaked e-mails involved in Climategate expose the unscientific behavior of leading climate scientists who deliberately destroyed records to block information requests, manipulated data to “hide the decline” in global temperatures, and conspired to silence the critics of man-made global warming. I support Senator James Inhofe’s call for a full investigation into this scandal. Because it involves many of the same personalities and entities behind the Copenhagen conference, Climategate calls into question many of the proposals being pushed...

As Sarah Palin begins what at least appears to be a testing—if not a parting—of the waters in anticipation of a potential presidential run, she has waded into the murky stuff that is the Israel/Palestine quagmire. One of the stops on her “Going Rogue” book promotional tour last week was ABC’s “Good Morning America.” Noting that the Obama administration doesn’t want Israel to build any more settlements on what it considers Palestinian territory, interviewer Barbara Walters asked the former Alaska governor/Vice Presidential candidate for her view. Palin’s response. The politician responded, “I disagree with the Obama administration on that. I...

Over a thousand sensitive emails and documents from Britain’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia were published online in late November without CRU’s permission. Some of their content suggests that the data used to support the theory of human -caused global warming have not been accurately represented.[1] The leaked emails have surfaced in time for the United Nations summit on climate, set to commence in December. Most of the emails are mundane, but some contain dialogue between scientists about adjusting climate data to support the man-made global warming hypothesis. The university is currently investigating the information...

The Obama administration is using a nonprofit group to help make America more like socialist Europe, according to video aired on the Glenn Beck Program. So says no less an authority than former Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean. In Paris a few months ago, Dean described Organizing for America (OFA), as “a new innovation from Obama.” He continued I think it’s a great thing for the Democratic Party. Remember I talked about the permanent campaign? Well, before I got to the DNC we didn’t have a permanent campaign. You would campaign for one year when you had a candidate...

My parents and I just had a wonderful time at “Hard Work U” – the school motto of College of the Ozarks. It earned that proud nickname because students there work their way through college and graduate with little or no debt. (In other words, a place after my own heart, and the hearts of others who worked their way through college and, like me, maybe took five years to finish because of work schedules!) At tonight’s patriotic event at the college we heard some amazing personal stories of heroism and sacrifice by our military veterans in attendance, including members...

Obama is expected to announce a plan to send 30,000 more U.S. troops to Afghanistan over six months in a bid to beat back the Taliban and bring a quicker end to a costly and unpopular eight-year war. Jim and a great many Freepers believe that we need to take back control. But the RNC is not hearing us. Activism is called for NOW. 2010 is nearing and we need Conservative candidates to run. The time is ripe and people are ready for another 1994 type election. But we need to make the RNC hear us loud and clear. This is the Rino Free America Project. Get involved. Make them listen. Thousands of fans waited in line to hear Sarah Palin in southern Missouri. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin spoke at College of the Ozarks Tuesday night. In her 50-minute speech before a crowd of several thousand people at the Point Lookout, Mo., campus, Palin stressed the importance of people speaking out, even if it's not popular. Quoting former Sen. Margaret Chase Smith, Palin said standing up for "what's right when it's unpopular is a true moral test." She said the United States is in a "crisis of confidence" and spoke of "economic, military and values-oriented battles" ahead. Palin was at College of the Ozarks to speak on patriotism, citizenship and civic engagement. Earlier...

We are many that are wondering why the climate meeting in Copenhagen Denmark is still going to happen when the top scientists from the IPCC have been caught red handed manipulating scientific data and threatening other scientists that did not buy the official story about climate change. As a Dane, I remember we where taught in school that the Vikings went to Greenland and the reason why it is call GREENland is because at the time of the MWP the land was green and the vikings farmed wheat. I am not aware if there are farmers on Greenland at the...

If Politico’s John F. Harris is correct and “Presidential politics is about storytelling” then the Obama campaign took an enormous risk using a narrative that left a lot to the individual imagination. Obama’s ambiguous call for change, created a fill-in-the-blank scenario for independents and moderates, and a call-to-arms for progressives. In Monday’s article “7 stories Barack Obama doesn’t want told” Harris explains, “Presented with a vivid storyline, voters naturally tend to fit every new event or piece of information into a picture that is already neatly framed in their minds.” “The pro-Obama narrative featured an almost mystically talented young idealist...

Maurice Clemmons, the alleged shooter in the Sunday murder of four Lakewood, Washington police officers, was killed early yesterday morning by a Seattle police officer. The protesters allegedly gathered to celebrate Clemmons as a "Crowned BOW (Black on White) Martyr," calling his attack a "preemptive strike on terrorists..." People shouldn't think that all ACORN does is help pimps and hookers buy houses, they serve the community in so many other ways, including embezzlement of donated funds, voter fraud, and using tax exempt dollars to help get liberal candidates elected. Yesterday the Republicans on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform held a forum to discuss ACORN and urge the Attorney General to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the Democratic Party's favorite criminal enterprise. Congressmen Smith and Issa presented documentation indicating that ACORN already transferred many of its resources to several other left-wing advocacy and political groups...

So many new developments: which story do we pick? Maybe best to summarise, instead. After all, it’s not like you’re going to find much of this reported in the MSM. 1. Australia’s Senate rejects Emissions Trading Scheme for a second time. Or: so turkeys don’t vote Christmas. Expect to see a lot more of this: politicians starting to become aware their party’s position on AGW is completely out of kilter with the public mood and economic reality. Kevin Rudd’s Emissions Trading Scheme – what Andrew Bolt calls “a $114 billion green tax on everything” – would have wreaked havoc on...
