I am not Sarah Palin, but I feel her pain. Every time the liberal left wants to take a swipe at the Republican Party, Sarah Palin is brought up. True to form in the July 12 Gazette, Dan DiNicola wrote a hit piece labeling Republicans who have traditional religious values as zealots. How did he begin his incoherent ramblings? With Sarah Palin, of course. DiNicola joins a long line of men in the media who cannot seem to stop talking about Mrs. Palin. David Letterman has frequently made lewd and humorless remarks about the Alaskan governor, even to the point...

You've just gotta love Sarah Palin! Unless, perhaps, she's your state's governor, and her antics are distracting the state from its business. Or unless you're Mitt Romney, trying to make the next Republican presidential primary campaign a sober affair that you can control. Or unless you're Mike Huckabee, fearful of being outflanked on the anti-abortion right. Or unless you're an Arctic wolf, dodging large-caliber bullets fired from a helicopter. Other than those, I can't think of any good reason not to thank Providence for sending her to us. Named after a feisty Jewish lady – the very first Jewish lady,...

(CNN) – Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's political action committee is confirming a flood of new donations that push her cash haul close to the million-dollar mark, as one of the nation's largest liberal PACs announced an ad targeting the former GOP vice presidential candidate. Palin spokeswoman Meg Stapleton confirmed a report in the Anchorage Daily News that more than $200,000 had poured into SarahPAC since Palin's announcement a week and a half ago that she would be leaving office by the end of the month. Those funds, along with $732,867 received through June 30 according to federal campaign finance filings,...

MSNBC anchor and Keith Olbermann wannabe David Shuster is so beside himself with glee over Gov. Sarah Palin's resignation that he's eager to let the whole world -- or at least some 18,000+ followers on Twitter -- know about it 140 characters at a time. In the process Shuster spewed ad hominem attacks on Palin backers on Twitter and endorsed as a knee-slapper a July 3 slam of Palin penned by veteran Democratic hack Paul Begala. Earlier Sunday evening the regular substitute host for "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" snickered over Palin's choice of legal counsel and his "intellectual vapidity." Those...

The liberal Talking Points Memo website, which is deemed a respectable political site by the mainstream media which regularly quotes from their articles, published an article last night that speculated Alaska Governor Sarah Palin resigned because "she wants to spread Down syndrome." Palin's infant son Trig was born last year with Down syndrome.Amazingly, the article was published at 11:51 p.m., hours after the Huffington Post had issued an apology over a similarly themed article that the site pulled after it was highlighted by Free Republic. The TPM article, entitled Possible Reasons for Sarah Palin's Resignation and Other Schadenfreude, was written by...

Exposure by Free Republic has forced the Huffington Post to take down an article attacking Sarah Palin over her Down Syndrome afflicted child, Trig, within ninety minutes of the offensive article being written about at Free Republic.Clicking on the source link at the Huffington Post now brings a page devoid of the article and headline. The keywords referencing Trig remain, however the original 'Comedy news' tag has been changed to 'Home news'The article, entitled "Palin Will Run In '12 on More Retardation Platform" was written by Huffington Post writer Erik Sean Nelson.Link to Huffington Post page.Link to Free Republic article...

No word as to why but Stephanopoulos has a hunch. If it’s related to her plans for next year, which way should Palinistas be rooting? Presumably they hope she’s not running for reelection so that she can devote herself full time to building a presidential campaign, a la Tim Pawlenty, but there’s no telling with the ‘Cuda. Is she going national or going away? She’s still a favorite to win if she runs again, but not nearly as much as she once was.

Tuesday night on Hugh's program, we discussed the Vanity Fair article about Sarah Palin and why, eight months after the election, Palin still arouses such fury amongst liberals and so many rank-and-file Democrats. ...

Last week, I came across this nauseating item while perusing one of my favorite blogs, Gateway Pundit. The fact that it was posted by a Democratic party operative speaks volumes about the character (or lack thereof) of today’s Donkeys, for whom Palin Derangement Syndrome is apparently an incurable affliction. The self-proclaimed champions of “choice” sure are angry with Sarah Palin for going with the “life” option, thus the superimposition of the face of pro-life talk radio host Eddie Burke on baby Trig’s body. As a commenter explains: “He (Eddie Burke) once called pro-choice women ‘baby killing maggots’, so his face...

I didn't think the latest post-mortem on Sarah Palin would cause much of a ripple. ..Well, I was wrong. Never underestimate the extent of the media's Palin fascination. The article has triggered another round of finger-pointing among conservative strategists and pundits. Yet another angle--a "sexier" one, if you will--comes under scrutiny from Atlantic's Ta-Nehisi Coates... "Purdum thinks the mere mention of this notion invites attacks from people who spend their days waiting to accuse people of sexism. He is wrong. They invite attacks from people who wonder why he's speaking as though there have been a parade of women who...

John Ziegler Exposes How Palin Derangement Syndrome Works By Noel Sheppard (Bio | Archive) July 3, 2009 - 11:22 ET Although almost eight months have passed since last year's elections, Palin Derangement Syndrome continues to manifest itself throughout America's press. As NewsBusters' Mike Sargent reported Tuesday, Vanity Fair's Todd Purdum is gravely afflicted with the illness, and needs to see a team of doctors quickly if he ever wants to be taken seriously by anyone other than the extreme Left. With that in mind, Palin documentarian John Ziegler had a fascinating radio interview with Politico's Mike Allen Wednesday that shed some light...

If you want to score a meeting with Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.), know this: His scheduler/office manager, Elizabeth Becton, is to be addressed by her full name — not Liz or any other variant. An executive assistant at McBee Strategic recently learned this the hard way. A few weeks ago, the assistant e-mailed Becton seeking a meeting with McDermott and a client, JPMorgan Chase. Days later, the assistant checked back in and unfortunately began the e-mail with “Hi Liz.” Becton curtly replied, “Who is Liz?” When the assistant wrote back with an apology, Becton turned up the heat. “I do...

Aging funnyman David Letterman proved it the other night. Moose might be out of season, but among liberals, which Letterman is, it's always open season on Sarah Palin and her family. And, by extension, the millions of Heartland Americans the Palins exemplify. Letterman's off-color quip about Palin's underage daughter, Willow, (notwithstanding his claim that it was about the Governor's older daughter who was not in New York City with her mother) and his derogatory remark about Palin, are just another in a series of broadsides designed to demean and marginalize the Alaska governor. Letterman's trashy, ham-handed humor at Palin's expense...

...wanted to give a heads up to this terrific post by Ric Locke at Protein Wisdom on why the left are completely bats*** crazy angry over Sarah Palin: Stereotype: Womyn® are good Progressive Democrats. Reality: Sarah Palin is a Republican. Stereotype: Only Democrats give power to Womyn® Reality: Sarah Palin is not just a Governor, she’s Governor of a State where the Governor has real power. Stereotype: All manly men are part of Teh Patriarchy, dedicated to preventing Womyn® from achievement and deeply resentful of anything resembling a subordinate position. Reality: Todd Palin is a manly man with a manly...

Sorry for the vanity but I wanted to vent. My 12 year old daughter is experiencing changes that daughters experience (yes I'm a single dad and this has been very traumatic for me). Apparently those changes can cause your temperature to fluctuate and make your stomach cramp. My daughter was experiencing those issues on Monday and went to the nurses' office at school who in turn called me to come get my daughter as she is experiencing "flu like symptoms and has a temperature of 100 degrees". After getting off the phone with the nurse I immediately called my pediatrician...

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- An ethics complaint has been filed against Gov. Sarah Palin, claiming the legal defense fund she established last week to challenge such claims is an ethics violation itself.

Sooner or later these people are going to realize the constant whining and attacking is not working. The fact that many ostensibly "popular" mainstream news shows are suffering big ratings drops is an indicator that the tide is turning. These poor women don't get that a person they despise is, without lifting a single finger and without the tiniest intention to do so, controlling them. Simply by being who she is, the person they love to hate, Sarah Palin controls their lives without even intending to. How ironic that they spend so much time thinking about Sarah Palin.

You may remember Trooper Mike Wooten from the whole "Troopergate" fiasco, which was pushed hard by the media and the Democrats in an attempt to smear Governor Palin. Alaska Senator Hollis French promised an "October surprise" to close out the investigation and Alaska Senator Kim Elton was later rewarded by the Obama administration for his role as the hatchet man in charge of the Legislative Council that oversaw the investigation.

Yesterday, when I saw allegations floating around the Alaska nutroots blogosphere that Wayne Anthony Ross, Palin's designee as Alaska Attorney General, had made comments in favor of rape and domestic violence, I just laughed and dismissed it as not worth answering. However, Shannyn Moore plastered the allegations up on the Huffington Post, and Sean Cockerham, whose employer at the Anchorage Daily News is always anxious to investigate wacky Palin conspiracy theories, posted on the "story" at the ADN in-house blog. So we should probably do some vetting of Leah Burton.
