April Hancock said she was watching out a window Wednesday evening as her son, Wyatt Abraham, was playing soccer in a neighbor's yard and the dog snapped its chain. A Valencia County woman was killed by a pit bull on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. at the woman's home off Crawford Road in Jarales, just south of Belen.
