Motel 6 says its employees in Phoenix will no longer work with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents following news reports that its workers were reporting on guests they believed were in the United States illegally. In a tweet about reports first published in the Phoenix New Times, Motel 6 said Wednesday: “This was implemented at the local level without the knowledge of senior management. When we became aware of it last week, it was discontinued.” Employees at the Motel 6 at one of the locations — near a stretch of other budget motels, discount stores and fast food chain...

A landscaper in #Phoenix, Arizona, is blaming employees at a local #Motel 6 for the visit he received from federal immigration agents while he was a guest at the motel recently. Manuel Rodriguez-Juarez, 33, said he reserved a room in June to get away from home during a spat with his girlfriend. He reportedly showed the front desk clerk the only identification he had -- a voter card issued in Mexico -- when he checked in.

On a hot Wednesday in June, Manuel Rodriguez-Juarez, a 33-year-old landscaper, got into an argument with his live-in girlfriend. While he waited for her to cool down, he decided to check into a $45-a-night room at a nearby Motel 6 on Maryvale’s southern fringe, where fast-food restaurants and gas stations catering to travelers passing through on Interstate 10 sit alongside neighborhood panaderias and marisquerias. The front-desk clerk told him that he needed to show identification in order to reserve a room. Rodriguez-Juarez handed over the only thing he had — a Mexican voter ID card. Six hours later, he was...

PHOENIX - Phoenix police say they’ve arrested a man who allegedly kicked a can of tear gas at officers after the President Trump rally earlier this week. Police shot the man with a pepper ball moments after he kicked the canister. Police say 29-year-old Joshua Cobin has been arrested on three counts of aggravated assault on police and one count of unlawful assembly.

I checked out the Lamestream Media coverage this morning . As you already know , it was, as they might have phrased it in their PC speech, “Reality Challenged”. Might start calling them 'Unhinged Media' now. The latest smearstorm is that Trump is crazy and must go. Perhaps some of the media are so divorced from reality they've actually gone off the deep end. My take is they are just following orders handed down to them from the “Ministry of Truth”. ( A little ”Orwellian” speak there, our modern Ministry of Truth is probably more like a mental orgy where...

""News hosts shocked into near-silence as Trump protester is shot in GROIN with rubber bullet as police open up with tear gas canisters on crowds after Phoenix rally"" Anti-Donald-Trump protests turned into skirmishes with police in Phoenix on Tuesday, as cops unloaded on the crowds gathered outside his rally with tear gas. In one wince-inducing moment screened on CBS5 and captured on Twitter, one protester - clad in a gas mask - kicked a canister of tear gas back at police. Seconds later a cloud of dust mushroomed up from his groin and he doubled up in agony. 'A guy...

The closed-door session between Phoenix Police Chief Jeri Williams and Will Goana, policy director for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Arizona, occurred just weeks before the Phoenix Police Department quietly implemented a new policy banning officers from contacting the feds after arresting an illegal alien and forbidding them from asking about suspects’ immigration status. The new order violates key provisions of a state law upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court and leaves the city vulnerable to costly lawsuits. Judicial Watch exposed the abrupt policy revision last month after obtaining a copy of the Phoenix Police Department’s new sanctuary...

Dr. Kelli Ward and “Team Ward” will be on site at a rally held by President Donald Trump on Tuesday in Phoenix, Arizona, just days after Trump blasted out a tweet lauding Ward in her primary challenge to Sen. Jeff Flake. It remains unclear whether Trump will cross the bridge to endorsing Ward after a tweet last week calling “Flake Jeff Flake” weak on borders, crime, a non-factor in the Senate and “toxic”: "Great to see that Dr. Kelli Ward is running against Flake Jeff Flake, who is WEAK on borders, crime and a non-factor in Senate. He's toxic!" Flake...

I asked my source inside the Phoenix Police Department about the chances of another riot. He acknowledged the City of Phoenix is very political but assured me the PPD is professional and non-political. He was firm in saying, "the PD is going to protect and mitigate."

WASHINGTON(Reuters) - Large protests could greet President Donald Trump on Tuesday when he travels to Arizona for his first campaign rally since he caused an uproar with his remarks about a white nationalist demonstration in Virginia. Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton, a Democrat, asked the Republican president to postpone Tuesday's event scheduled for 7 p.m. MST (0200 GMT on Wednesday) in light of his response to the street battles that broke out earlier this month at a protest against the removal of a Confederate statue in Charlottesville. Trump was widely criticized for blaming both white nationalists and counter-protesters for the violence...

Rally attendees are already starting to line up, are camped out in chairs. No sign of Antifa or BLM scum yet, no surprise. When you're chronically unemployed, you usually don't get up before noon LOL. Doors open at 4, rally starts at 7. Even more streets are being closed, will give update later on this. City of Phoenix Police, County Sheriff's dept, State police and National Guard will be on hand. Am also told ICE will have a presence, spread the word, hope that will keep illegal troublemakers away. Local Rat leaders still whining that DJT should cancel the rally....

Nothing seems to get under President Donald Trump's skin like an undersized crowd. That's all the ammunition Arizona activists needed to devise a peaceful protest strategy for Trump's campaign-style rally Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Phoenix Convention Center. The plan is simple: Rally-goers must register online for tickets to attend the controversial affair, so activists and social media-users plan to sign up for as many tickets as possible with no intention of attending the actual event. They figure this will leave Trump speaking to a smaller crowd while taking a spot away from actual supporters. J'aime Morgaine, the founder...

President Trump on Thursday said it was “great” to see Republican Kelli Ward challenging Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona, who the president labeled “toxic” and a “non-factor” in the U.S. Senate. “Great to see that Dr. Kelli Ward is running against Flake Jeff Flake, who is WEAK on borders, crime and a non-factor in Senate. He’s toxic!” Mr. Trump tweeted. The president’s open embrace of a primary challenger to a sitting Republican senator comes as Mr. Trump prepares to head to Phoenix next week for a campaign rally, where he could formally endorse a challenger to Mr. Flake, who has...
