Police are praising a brave man who intervened and saved a woman being viciously attacked by four dogs Sunday morning. The 54-year-old woman was walking her dog in an alley in the central Edmonton neighbourhood of Spruce Avenue, when she was surrounded by a pack of several medium to large-sized dogs. She was seriously injured and taken to hospital with multiple bite wounds to her legs, back and arms. Animal Care and Control seized the four dogs believed to have attacked the woman.
