According to pro-life organization Abortion on Trial, a security guard has been removed from his position at a New Mexico abortion facility owned by Franz Theard, an abortionist currently under investigation for abandoning a patient who suffered two concurrent botched abortions under his care. Bertram Wiles, employed by Securitas Security Services USA Inc. as a security guard, was placed at Women’s Reproductive Clinic in New Mexico. Joe McGinniss, the best-selling author who moved in next door to Sarah Palin to get the scoop for a book he is writing about her, is packing it in after three-and-a-half months in Wasilla. McGinniss said he's leaving his rental home on Sunday, satisfied that he didn't have unpleasant encounters with anyone in Wasllla, except perhaps Sarah Palin's husband, Todd. A November request by 18-year-old Bristol Palin keep the proceedings closed was denied Christmas Eve. Her Nov. 3 petition for sole custody and child support also seeks a visitation schedule for Levi Johnston, the father of 1-year-old Tripp. Bristol says her ex-fiance has exercised "sporadic visitation rights."
