DUNCAN, Okla. – A mother and daughter from Oklahoma are accused of having an incestuous marriage. Patricia Spann, 43, and Misty Spann, 25, were married in March 2016 in Comanche County, court records show. Police say Patricia is Misty’s biological mother. Investigators with the Department of Human Services discovered the illegal relationship in August while investigating the children who were inside the Spanns’ home.

The number of stores feeling the effects of a bad gas recall has tripled in the last day. The Oklahoma Corporation Commission now says 107 gas stations and distributors have so far been identified as possibly receiving high ethanol gas. Nearly 450,000 gallons of fuel from Magellan Midstream Partners may have as much as 30-percent ethanol. The fuel was distributed between Aug. 23 and Aug. 29 to dozens of stations across the state. A 31-year-old man found himself running from bullets after a mother found him in her 16-year-old daughter’s bedroom, police say. Valerie Fowler, of Paoli, Okla., shot Brandon Vail twice after she found him and her daughter kissing, according to an affidavit. A Stephens County deputy was fired after his K9 officer died while in his care. The incident came to light August and, since then, the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office has conducted an investigation and terminated Matthew Peck.
