In an attempt to fight back against average citizens who express their views toward the government takeover of healthcare, Barack Obama and Congressional Democrats have launched a counter-offensive aimed at discrediting the citizens and seizing the upper hand on the healthcare debate. Obama told Democratic Senators just prior to their departure on Friday for the August recess that the Administration 'has their backs' and that if they are attacked for their views on socialized medicine they should attack back doubly hard. Vandals struck four Chicago-area synagogues early Saturday morning, shattering glass doors and windows with bricks and rocks and spray-painting anti-Israel graffiti. Officials at Papillion–La Vista South High School have suspended two students who allegedly used insensitive language during a social studies class discussion about the presidential election. The school said the juniors made comments about President-elect Barack Obama that had racial and religious undertones.
