**SNIP** Defending against her suggestion that he's a corrupt parallel to President Donald Trump in Washington and deflecting the odor of criminal prosecutions of people close to him, Cuomo tried to cast Nixon as a corporate donor herself who solicited "favors" from her friend de Blasio. "You're a corporation," he said, faulting the allegedly minimal way by which she disclosed her income tax forms. She noted that in his first race for governor in 2010, his disclosure followed the election. She said her business corporation is that of a small business owner. Also hyperbolically, Cuomo called agents of the Immigration...

President Trump has a lot on the line in this fall’s midterm elections. So, he’s decided to turn for help to the man he trusts the most — himself. In the remaining 75 days until ballots are counted, Trump will invest at least 40 of them in campaigning for Republicans in both House and Senate races. He will spend additional time on fundraising for candidates and the party .And you may have noticed, this president is quite comfortable with spur-of-the-moment decisions. So, it’s likely he will add even more campaign days along the way as races and political needs develop....

Two Republicans cast themselves as potential successors to embattled Rep. Chris Collins (R-N.Y.) after he announced he would suspend his reelection campaign Saturday while he faces insider trading charges. New York businessman and former gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino and Erie County Comptroller Stefan Mychajliw both tweeted out their candidacies that same day. Paladino tweeted, “I’m all in! #NY27,” referring to the state's deeply red 27th Congressional District. Mychajliw tweeted that he too is “all in.”

Antonio Delgado railed against capitalism, rapped about porn, masturbating The Democratic congressional candidate for New York's 19th district, Antonio Delgado, rhymed about watching porn, masturbating, and attacked capitalism in his past life as a "social justice" rapper. Delgado, who is challenging Rep. John Faso (R., N.Y.), released an album under the record label "CD Baby" in 2007. Delgado, whom the New York Times considers "much less progressive" than other Democratic House candidates like socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, once tried to pursue a rap career to advance "radical social change" in the United States.

So much for Democrats coming together in New York’s 14th congressional district. A feud erupted Thursday on Twitter between Democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and outgoing Democratic Rep. Joseph Crowley -- the longtime congressman Ocasio-Cortez shockingly defeated in New York’s primaries last month. The victor claimed the incumbent is now mounting a third-party bid. “.@repjoecrowley stated on live TV that he would absolutely support my candidacy,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted Thursday. “Instead, he’s stood me up for all 3 scheduled concession calls.” The 28-year-old progressive Democrat added: “Now, he’s mounting a 3rd party challenge against me and the Democratic Party- and against the...

Interesting tidbit via the NY times revealing that Democrat, Congressman, Joe Crowley's internal polling revealed the he was up 36 points over his challenger, Democrat, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Of course we all know the fifteen point "political slaughter" that befell the stunned, Joe Crowley, last Tuesday evening, in the 14thNYCD. One of Democrat, Nancy Pelosi's, favorites, Joe Crowley, received a most crushing blow in his defeat handed him by Ms. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. I tried to search the internet for pre-primary election polls, but came up empty, even on "Real Clear Politics" site. It appears the Fake News" pollsters scrubbed their numbers...

ALBANY — As the race for governor accelerates, Republican nominee Marc Molinaro says the campaign of Democratic Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo is trying falsely to define him as an ultraconservative out of step with most New Yorkers on social issues. “If they think that diminishing and demeaning people is the way to win an election, God bless them,” Molinaro said in an interview. The Cuomo campaign routinely refers to Molinaro as “Trump mini-me . . . who has an ‘A’ rating from the NRA and is the NY GOP’s hand-picked anti-woman, anti-immigrant, anti-LGBTQ candidate.”

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said on Wednesday that progressive New York congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's surprise win should not be viewed at something larger within the Democratic Party. "They made a choice in one district. So let’s not get yourself carried away as an expert on demographics and the rest of that. Within the caucus or outside the caucus, we are...again, we have an array of genders, generations, geography, and there is opinion in our caucus, and we’re proud of that," Pelosi told reporters at a news conference. "The fact that in a very progressive district in New...

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a 28-year-old Latina running her first campaign, ousted 10-term incumbent Rep. Joe Crowley in New York's 14th congressional district on Tuesday. An activist and member of the Democratic Socialists of America, Ocasio-Cortez won over voters in the minority-majority district with a ruthlessly efficient grassroots bid, even as Crowley -- the fourth-ranking Democrat in the House -- outraised her by a 10-to-1 margin.

Last evening as POTUS, Donald J. Trump smiled broadly, enjoying the smashing Mid-Term primary victories of Republicans, Henry McMaster (Governor) in South Carolina and Mitt Romney (U.S. Senate) in Utah, both of whom POTUS, endorsed for victory and, the dismal number of Democrats that turned out and voted in primary elections across the country. Little did the POTUS know that the real "political" shock of the evening was yet to take place in the borough of Queens, Woodside, New York as the evening rolled on. Democrat, House Representative, Democrat leader and possible House Speaker, Joesph Crowley was handed a massive,...

President Trump slammed Joe Crowley just minutes after the Democratic congressman lost a primary to a political novice. “Wow! Big Trump Hater Congressman Joe Crowley, who many expected was going to take Nancy Pelosi’s place, just LOST his primary election,” Trump tweeted Tuesday night. “In other words, he’s out! That is a big one that nobody saw happening. Perhaps he should have been nicer, and more respectful, to his President!” Crowley lost to Democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who believes in universal health care, a federal jobs guarantee, and the abolition of ICE.

A primary for a New York congressional district is the perfect proxy war for Democrats. If you could create the ultimate proxy war for the two camps who have been fighting in the Democratic Party since 2016, it would be the primary contest between Rep. Joe Crowley and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in New York. Crowley is part of the House Democrats’ leadership team, with close ties to Nancy Pelosi and Wall Street. He’s raised more than $3 million this year. He’s toed the party line on progressive policies, even participating in a recent demonstration on family separation, in which he blocked...

Gov. Andrew Cuomo handed Hillary Clinton, the Democratic 2016 presidential nominee, a bouquet of flowers on a stage at his party’s convention on Long Island on Wednesday afternoon. At the same time in Manhattan, Cuomo’s Republican gubernatorial rival was doing all he could to separate himself from his own party’s 2016 presidential nominee, Donald Trump. Marc Molinaro, the Dutchess County executive, officially earned his nomination at the state convention where the New York Republican Party unanimously approved him as its designee to take on Cuomo in November. Drawing a stark contrast from the wealthy president known for his inflammatory rhetoric,...

Special elections in New York on Tuesday will present voters with nearly a dozen state legislative races from Buffalo to Long Island, and could prove decisive in the Democrats’ yearslong quest to capture all levers of state government. The vacancies in the State Senate and Assembly are the result of incumbents decamping for other positions. State election officials say Tuesday will see a historic number of contests. “I can’t think of any time that we’ve had this many special elections on a single day,” said John Conklin, a spokesman for the Board of Elections. The most critical races to the...

Democrats in New York flipped a New York Assembly seat on Tuesday, winning a seat that has been in GOP hands for nearly four decades. Democrat Steve Stern, a former Suffolk County legislator, beat out Janet Smitelli (R) for AD-10, a Long Island seat, with 59 percent of the vote, according to Daily Kos. The district has been represented by a Republican since 1978. Former presidents Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama both won the district in the last two presidential elections, but the 18-point margin in Tuesday's election is indicative of a growing blue wave in the area.

New York magazine writer Jessica Pressler declared onApril 15 that Cynthia Nixon had pushed Gov. Andrew Cuomo so far to the left that the actress had already won the Democratic nomination for governor. Mic writer A.P. Joyce pointed to Cuomo’s executive order that gives paroled felons the right to vote, along with an agreement to end the power-sharing agreement between the state Senate GOP caucus and Democrats who often sided with the GOP as evidence of Cuomo’s new lean to the port side of New York state politics. “While some progressive activists cheered her entry into the race, many established...

Joseph was reunited with his father in the year 2238, at age 39, after 7 years of plenty and 2 years of famine. The year can be deduced from Jacob's age of 130, and Joseph's age of 30 when he was released from prison nine years earlier. Joseph was sold into slavery at age 17. Thus the family separation...
