Molinaro running on compassion and inclusion – but not Trump (NY)

Gov. Andrew Cuomo handed Hillary Clinton, the Democratic 2016 presidential nominee, a bouquet of flowers on a stage at his party’s convention on Long Island on Wednesday afternoon. At the same time in Manhattan, Cuomo’s Republican gubernatorial rival was doing all he could to separate himself from his own party’s 2016 presidential nominee, Donald Trump.

Marc Molinaro, the Dutchess County executive, officially earned his nomination at the state convention where the New York Republican Party unanimously approved him as its designee to take on Cuomo in November.

Drawing a stark contrast from the wealthy president known for his inflammatory rhetoric, Molinaro emphasized his humble beginnings in his acceptance speech and framed himself as a compassionate conservative who could appeal to all voters.

Compassionate conservative? Sounds like a GW retread.

No thanks, I’d take Cuomo and any Republican who won’t run with Trump deserves to be thrashed.

Exit question: is there even a Republican Party in NY?

Just as well in a state where Democrats outnumber Republicans.

No contest between a Democrat and a RINO.

Pick your poison: Coke or Diet Coke.

And his LT GOv is pro safe act refuses to repeal it.
He lost me at his speech to the Erie County rino gathering.
The guy is milk toast at best.

They will have no support from us in the 2A movement, most are flocking to Libertarian Sharpe.

Why run? Trying to be McCain who lost is not a good strategy. Be Trump and win. What should he do?🤣🤣

Why not run with Trump? Go for broke because your going to lose anyway.

He would carry a hell of a lot of upstate NY if he did.

We’ve (Paladino and myself) have tried everything to bitch slap him around. He replied that he wants to make amends. Wants a meeting with us, the 2A people and the TEA Party set in Syracuse. We were working on it. UNTIL this crap at the convention and his choice for Lt Gov. He slapped us in the face.

His campaign is full of Pataxme leftovers, the crew that can’t shoot straight. They think they hit a homerun then to wake up election day and find themselves on 3rd base, if not second. I told Carl that if and when we do attend and host a meeting then if I see one of them, I walk back out the door.

The screwed up Astorino and now this? I’m done trying, I’m done fighting, we are alone in the wilderness again!

Being a Conservative is very Compassionate.

First of all, Conservatives give more to Charity than Liberals do.

Secondly, Conservatives are against an all powerful Government using a corrupt Tax System to steal from hard working Citizens in order to reward those who keep that same Government in power with their Votes.

The Molinaro’s are a family dynasty on Long Island. Have been for decades. They’re as useless and corrupt as the Kennedy’s.
