AUSTIN – Conservative firebrand and former Florida congressman Allen West will lead the Texas Republican Party into the 2020 election, after ousting the current chairman early Monday during a convention marred by technical difficulties. He vowed to use his post to push back against Democrats’ “progressive socialism.” “I am sick and tired of Republicans being on their heels, being on the defense, always being reactionary with a party that as we see right now-- they don’t stand up for the rule of law, they stand for rule of the mob,” he said during a victory lap on conservative media. The New York Times leaked off-the-record conversation with Donald Trump in January recently to Buzzfeed. Buzzfeed’s editor in chief Ben Smith wrote this week that Mr. Trump reportedly told the NY Times that his extreme position on deporting immigrants was fluid and developing. Senator Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio lashed out at Trump and immediately demanded that Donald Trump order the release of the off-the-record conversation. On Thursday the Times reported that there’s nothing in the Trump tapes. Sorry Ted. The Washington Examiner reported: New York Times opinion page editor Andrew Rosenthal insisted Wednesday that his newspaper is not covering...

“Berlin police cower before Jew-haters,” proclaimed a headline in the Berlin newspaper Tagesspiegel—and this line has been posted numerous times on social networking sites. It was reported that a group of Arabs shouted “Jew, Jew, cowardly pig, come out and fight alone” at a recent demonstration and police officers did not interfere. In many European cities, what began as peaceful protests turned into outpourings of anti-Jewish sentiments and violence against counter-demonstrators. […] The Gaza conflict has stirred up public opinion in Europe, and it has brought Israel-hatred to Germany along with it, according to political scientist Stephan Grigat. […] Grigat has...

This weekend we celebrate Memorial Day in honor of our American servicemen and women who have sacrificed their lives defending us both at home and abroad. Many of our troops enlist in the military upon adulthood and have served in wars before their classmates have even graduated from college. These men and women are true American heroes and we must protect them just as well as they protect us. Unfortunately, despite President Obama’s Memorial Day proclamation that we shall “never forget” the sacrifices of our soldiers, he and Secretary of State John Kerry have forgotten about a living American hero...

BAGHDAD (AP) — A contentious draft law being considered in Iraq could open the door to girls as young as nine getting married and would require wives to submit to sex on their husband's whim, provoking outrage from rights activists and many Iraqis who see it as a step backward for women's rights.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – News reports of frosted pop tart guns! Paper guns! Bubble guns! Pointed finger guns! Bang, bang, you’re dead! OMG! sound the alarm These days, everything’s a federal offense, so to speak, and no institution is ratcheting up the war-of-words like public education. This winter, public school administrators in Thousand Oaks, CA attended a “safe school” and “threat assessment” workshop, a collaboration of the local Ventura County Department of Education and the Ventura County Sheriffs where the education code was redefined to include a 21st Century list of words, phrases and expressions that can hurt. Literally. Yes,...

A Massachusetts politician has put forth a proposal to allow local police to enter homes without a warrant in order to inspect whether gun owners are properly storing their firearms. The idea was floated by Swampsott Selectman Barry Greenfield, who expressed frustration about the Newtown school massacre in the neighboring state of Connecticut and in other cases where people have obtained their parents’ guns to carry out shootings. “We need the ability to enforce the state law,” Greenfield said, according to the Swampscott Patch. The town of Swampscott reportedly has about 600 gun owners. Under Massachusetts law, it is “unlawful to...

Clearly this is a problem that only can be solved with more Somali settlers moving out of the Midwest and into coastal states. And then Americans can finally experience Somali piracy without going anywhere near Africa. These people are not Americans. They have no interest in being Americans. Somalis living in Knoxville — and across the country — are anxious about the new negativity being circulated around the world by the actions of a few. The forecast isn’t getting any easier. No other groups gets this treatment. This “backlash whining” in front of every story and after every crime. Now talking...

The push for radical transgender rights in schools is trumping privacy rights at one Colorado high school. A male student at Florence High School who claims to be a transgender has been harrassing girls in the bathroom. When parents complained, school officials said the boy's rights as a transgender trumped their daughters' privacy rights. As the controversy grew, some students were threatened with being kicked off athletic teams or charged with hate crimes if they continued to voice concerns. The Pacific Justice Institute sent the school a letter warning against squelching privacy rights. "We're not going to stand by and...

What is it about the Gun-grabbing ghouls and their BSMedia minions with protecting themselves and not our precious offspring? They lost their collective cookies over the mere suggestion that armed police offices keep kids safe. In part it could be their Dracula like aversion to guns in the hands of individuals not of their security details. But you have to ask yourself why is the oppressive left so adamant about not protecting the Children? There has to be something else at work here – some other reason than Hoplophobia in the extreme – but what could it be? Why don’t...

President Obama’s administration needs to work on its communication. Today, Jay Carney said that the Obama Administration’s focus is “to keep criminals and others who should not have those guns, from being able to obtain them.” Memos must not get sent to the right people, or maybe they are sent but are just overlooked It was December 2010 when conservative bloggers were trying to get national recognition of the Fast and Furious Scandal. With the murder of ATF Agent Brian Terry came a justifiable outrage for not only bungling a dangerous case, but also for not disclosing any of the...

I challenge anyone and everyone provide proof that Obama received the Certification of Live Birth, which is dated June 2007, and posted online, from the Hawaii Health Department. Show me one statment, by any official of the State of Hawaii, Department of Health, made prior to today's date, where they claimed that they provided this document to Obama. So many people say that Obama is a citizen-that they have seen his Birth Certificate-but all they have seen is a picture or a computer image. We all see movies everyday where computer graphics are used, the images aren't real. Surely if...
