Rising Turkish Menace: U.S. and NATO Ally Wants Islamic Advance in Latin America By Julio Severo The president of Turkey has re-written history by claiming Muslim explorers, not Christopher Columbus, discovered America. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan Recep Tayyip Erdogan, chief of America’s NATO ally, said November 15 that Islamic sailors found the New World in 1178. He said, “Muslims discovered America in 1178, not Christopher Columbus.” Turkey is the only Islamic nation in the NATO. His theory — which is supported only by Islamic historians — came to light in a televised speech during an Istanbul summit of...

I nominate Recep Tayyip Erdogan, president of Turkey, as the most inconsistent, mysterious, and therefore most unpredictable major politician on the world stage. His victory in a referendum last Sunday formally bestows him with near-dictatorial powers that leave Turkey, the Middle East, and beyond in a greater state of uncertainty than ever. Here are some of the puzzles:Mystery #1: Holding the referendum. The Turkish electorate voted on April 16 in a remarkable national plebiscite that dealt not with the usual topic – floating a bond or recalling a politician – but with fundamental constitutional changes affecting the very nature of their...

FULL TITLE:Today President Erdogan Presents The “Rabba Salute” – Affirming Ideological Alignment With Muslim Brotherhood… Political Islam is fraught with coded messaging used to convey intention to Islamic audiences while simultaneously presenting a false face to the West. When you know what signals to look for you are able to fully understand the ideology behind the message. =snip= The foundational ideological block under ISIS, al-Qaeda and Al Nusra, is the Muslim Brotherhood. The Brotherhood has its own signature; and when you know what to look for you can identify its appearance. Islamist activists, and demonstrators hold four fingers in the...

The Muslim Brotherhood’s Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) is up to its usual tricks. This time, in the state of Georgia, CAIR is waging a disinformation campaign to end valuable counterjihad training that has been conducted by a military and law enforcement professional across the southeastern United States for years. The thorough and authoritative training is led by a man named David Bores. Bores is a retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel and Vietnam combat veteran who, upon retiring from the Army embarked upon a successful law enforcement career, rising to the rank of Major in one of Georgia’s sheriff’s...

There hasn’t been a sudden explosion of paranoia and fear about Russia like this since Sputnik. In the ‘12 election debates, Obama had breezily dismissed Romney’s suggestion that Russia was the leading geopolitical threat. “You said Russia. Not al Qaeda. You said Russia," he sneered. "And the 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back, because the Cold War's been over for 20 years." Obama was nearly right.

When Barack Obama spoke at the 12th annual MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference in Boston, MA, many of us scratched our heads as to why the event was off-the-record. No photography, recording, or social media posting about Obama’s appearance was allowed. Obviously, he would not be talking about golf. But, with over 3,500 people in attendance, there was no way this speech would be hidden for long. As expected, a recording of Obama’s appearance was leaked. Obama said a lot of things over the course of an hour, but I’d like to focus on his claim that, while some people in...

More from the woman who claimed “job opportunities” were the key to defeating ISIS . . . Marie Harf, a former Obama State Department spokeswoman, appeared on today’s Fox News Sunday. Substitute host Dana Perino didn’t hesitate to put Harf on the hot seat, comparing Obama’s lack of support for Iranian protesters in 2009 with President Trump and VP Pence’s support for the protesters in Iran today. Exemplifying Obama’s losing, “leading from behind,” approach to foreign policy, Harf said: “The reason we didn’t [support the protesters] was that it was our judgment—and we were hearing from Iranians protesting on the...

An Egyptian court sentenced former President Mohammed Morsi to three years in prison on Saturday during a court session broadcast on national television. The former Islamist president was sentenced, along with 19 others, for insulting the judiciary. The case involved 25 defendants including Alaa Abdel-Fattah, a prominent human rights activist, and Amr Hamzawy, a political commentator. Abdel-Fattah and Hamzawy were each fined 30,000 Egyptian pounds (about $1,700/€1,400). Hamzawy is living in exile, but Abdel-Fattah is serving a five-year sentence for participating in an illegal demonstration in 2013. All the defendants are said to have insulted the judiciary with a variety...

The dramatic decision by five Arab countries to sever ties with Qatar over its alleged coddling of the Muslim Brotherhood and its flirtation with their archenemy Iran has caught the pugnacious emirate’s closest regional ally, Turkey, off balance and wondering whether it too may be targeted. Turkey’s initial reaction to the announcement by Bahrain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Yemen that they were suspending diplomatic ties as well as air and sea travel to and from Qatar was a call for dialogue. Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at a news conference, “We see the stability in the Gulf region as our own...

Few Americans are aware of America’s largest terrorist prosecution in U.S. federal court, U.S. v. Holy Land Foundation, et al. During the trial, in November of 2008, the government presented evidence that the Holy Land Foundation and five defendants provided approximately $12.4 million in support to Hamas and its goal of creating an Islamic Palestinian state by eliminating the State of Israel through violent jihad:.......... From the archives of the Muslim Brotherhood in America, the innocuous-sounding "Explanatory Memorandum" explained how the Muslim Brotherhood sought to extend sharia into the United States and Canada. Another document referenced from the U.S. v....

The Clintons and their associates, whether it's Sandy Berger or Cheryl Mills, certainly have a gift for making paperwork disappear. Sandy Berger, Bill Clinton’s former National Security Adviser, stole classified documents about the terror failures of the Clinton administration, hid documents under a construction trailer, lied about taking them and destroyed some of them. Hillary Clinton confidants were part of an operation to “separate” damaging documents before they were turned over to the Accountability Review Board investigating security lapses surrounding the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attacks on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya. According to former Deputy Assistant Secretary Raymond...

When Egyptian general Al-Sisi ousted the Muslim Brotherhood from power, many in the West celebrated his coup. The Muslim Brotherhood's leader Mohammed Morsi had been an extremist intent on "cleansing" his country of Egypt's Christians, known as Copts. However, since becoming president, Al-Sisi has done little to nothing to protect the Copts. In fact, under his rule, more churches have been closed down than ever before. Christians are regularly targeted by Islamist extremist terrorists, and Copts generally feel that they may not have a future in their country. Al-Monitor reports: When a long-awaited law on building and restoring churches went...

These hard-Leftist groups, although they claim to be against fascism, are fascist to the core, wanting to shut down, violently if necessary, anyone who disagrees with them. They claim to be against hate, but are more hateful than anyone, and so they see natural allies in al-Qaeda and the Islamic State. Both hate the West, both hate the U.S., both hate the Judeo-Christian tradition, so they see each other as kindred spirits. *snip* A secret FBI investigation of the violent ‘resistance’ movement on college campuses against President Trump has led to an alarming discovery—the collusion between American anarchists and foreign...

Consider the special counsel, Robert Mueller, who gives ( commencement speeches) about honor and integrity. This is a guy who met secretly with Islamist groups and sanitized FBI training materials so that FBI agents could not recognize and identify the enemy trying to kill us. The Judicial Watch report, (“U.S. Government Purges of Law Enforcement Training Material Deemed ‘Offensive’ to Muslims,”) should have disqualified Mueller from ever again serving in any role as an investigator of anything remotely connected to national security. Christopher Farrell of Judicial Watch calls it a “curious” story about how “a group of radical Islamists” with...

The awful possibility that Israel could end-up on the receiving end of nuclear bombs manufactured from American ore starts with the obvious sympathies Barack Obama has had for Iran. A simple review of the Iranians he surrounded himself with (think Valerie Jarrett), and the numerous meetings at the White House with members of the Muslim Brotherhood and you get the picture. Add Hillary's right hand aide, Huma Abidin, whose family was intimately involved with the Brotherhood, and you see even more proof. Although I suspect Clinton was always more for the money than any religious bent. Obama hated Israel. From...

Tariq Ramadan is not only the grandson of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood (Hasan al-Banna), he's also one of the most well-known Islamist intellectuals in the world. Ramadan simultaneously presents himself as moderate and as a loyal grandson. For instance, in the Foreword to a new edition of al-Banna’s "Risalat al-Ma’thurat," a collection of key texts from the Qur’an and Hadith, Ramadan calls the book "the core of spiritual education for all members of the Muslim Brotherhood." He then praised his grandfather, extolling the "quality of his faith and the intensity of his relationship with God. Anyone who had...

How the Democratic Party’s “Resistance” and Trump Derangement Syndrome are inciting a violent war against Republicans and conservatives. While the left side of the political spectrum responded to the mass shooting in Las Vegas with fevered calls for gun controls, which even Democrats admit would not have prevented the massacre, they have done nothing to rein in their hateful rhetoric demonizing Trump supporters and providing clear incitements to deranged individuals like Stephen Paddock to commit heinous acts of violence. Leftist celebrity Nancy Sinatra notoriously tweeted “Murderous members of NRA should face firing squad” – to express her politically correct assumption...

From the founding of America 241 years ago, those opposed to and threatened by America’s Founding Fathers’ noble aspirations of freedom for all and a government in which citizens and not kings or dictators decide who will represent them have waged fierce resistance. From the Muslim Barbary Pirates who fought America’s first presidents (George Washington, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson) to today’s equally bellicose, supremacist, and fascist groups like Black Lives Matter and Antifa, all harbor the fantasy of destroying big bad America and replacing our Democratic Republic first with socialism and finally with communism. Predictably, they are fully supported...

The former leader of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood Islamist movement, Mohamed Akef, has died in a Cairo hospital after an illness, the group’s lawyer said on Friday. Akef was “supreme guide” of the movement, as the leadership is known, until the end of 2009. He was among those detained in a crackdown after Egypt’s elected president Mohamed Mursi, also of the Muslim Brotherhood, was ousted by the military in 2013. Akef’s daughter announced his death on her Facebook page. The group’s lawyer, Abdel Monem Abdel Maqsoud, told Reuters he had received a call from the prison service to report Akef’s death...
