On Joy Reid’s MSNBC show today, conservative Latino Alfonso Aguilar cited Hillary Clinton’s praise of the eugenicist Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood. Hillary has said that she “admire[s] Margaret Sanger enormously.” Reid responded by saying Sanger was not a legitimate issue because she is a “dead person.” Even worse, when Aguilar tried to make that point that a majority of abortions performed by Planned Parenthood are on minority women, Reid shut Aguilar down, calling his statement “incredibly offensive. I think that smear of Planned Parenthood cannot go forward and we’re not going to continue with that line of...

Donald Trump laced into the hosts of MSNBC's morning show anew on Monday, accusing one of co-hosts of being "neurotic" and a "mess" and both of them as being "two clowns." "Tried watching low-rated @Morning_Joe this morning, unwatchable! @morningmika is off the wall, a neurotic and not very bright mess!" Trump tweeted Monday, referring specifically to Mika Brzezinski, in response to the first hour and 20 minutes of MSNBC's "Morning Joe." Minutes after his initial tweet, Trump offered another personal broadside. "Some day, when things calm down, I'll tell the real story of @JoeNBC and his very insecure long-time girlfriend,...

According to Adweek’s Scoreboard, The Kelly File, hosted by Fox News personality Megyn Kelly, has been in a tight competition for ratings with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow. Among the 25-54 age demographic, The Rachel Maddow Show nearly tied Kelly in total viewership Wednesday, with 400,000 viewers to Kelly’s 401,000. This is third time in the month of August where Maddow has either tied or surpassed Kelly among the 25-54 age bracket. The Fox News Channel show still overtook Maddow in overall viewers with 500,000, but according to Breitbart, the 25-54 demographic is particularly important because of its high value to advertisers....

Despite his fall from prominence due to serial lying and removal from the anchor desk of NBC Nightly News, current MSNBC breaking news anchor Brian Williams will be given another chance to rein over a daily news program when, according to CNN’s Brian Stelter, MSNBC awards him a half-hour show at 11:00 p.m. at a date to be determined. Stelter reported late Monday night that Williams's program will be slated to run from Labor Day to Election Day and last for only a half-hour "wrapping up the day's campaign news, the sources said." Of course, this brings to mind Williams’s...

Donald Trump asked a foreign policy expert advising him why the U.S. can't use nuclear weapons, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough said on the air Wednesday, citing an unnamed source who claimed he had spoken with the GOP presidential nominee. "Several months ago, a foreign policy expert on the international level went to advise Donald Trump. And three times [Trump] asked about the use of nuclear weapons. Three times he asked at one point if we had them why can't we use them," Scarborough said on his "Morning Joe" program. Scarborough made the Trump comments 52 seconds into an interview with former...

On MSNBC, Reid and Kremer argued over whether Clinton's emails actually pose a threat to U.S. national security. "Nope! No! No, ma'am! No, ma'am!" the host said. "You cannot invent things." "Yes! The FBI also said that she has not turn over — she didn't over all the emails," her guest said. "No, ma'am! No, Ma'am! You cannot invent things. You cannot say things — You're putting out incredibly inflammatory information," Reid continued.

Scarborough said Friday on "Morning Joe" that Donald Trump has become too toxic for the GOP's congressional candidates this year. "The center cannot hold when you have the speaker of the House [Paul Ryan] calling the Republican nominee a racist but saying he's still endorsing the nominee," he said. "It is so bizarre on its face that you have people chuckling in the background." Scarborough referenced the often tense relationship Ryan has had with Trump on foreign and domestic policy issues as well as the tone of the celebrity businessman's campaign.

Couldn’t Joe Scarborough have waited until after Barack Obama gave his DNC speeches tonight before he began gushing over him? Apparently not. On today’s Morning Joe, Scarborough, pre-lauding Obama’s speech-to-be, said “you know when you’re watching a great movie . . . and you can see where it’s going, and you sort of start smiling?” But it wasn’t just Obama’s as yet unspoken speech that had Scarborough excited. “You look at that lineup: it’s absolutely extraordinary,” enthused Joe. In addition to Obama, tonight’s line-up consists of Michael Bloomberg, Tim Kaine and Joe Biden. Yes, when it comes to oratory that...

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the chair of the Democratic National Committee, was furious when she was criticized by MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski. Wasserman Schultz called for Brzezinski to “apologize” and told her co-worker Chuck Todd “this must stop.” The DNC chair even complained to MSNBC’s president.

Part of the cache of emails from top DNC officials reveals that DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz took issue with the negative coverage coming from MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski, going so far as to email NBC’s Chuck Todd to tell the anchor that it “must stop.” The email was sent on May 18 to Todd with the subject “Chuck, this must stop.” In the email, Wasserman Schultz forwards Todd an article from Breitbart‘s Ian Hanchett glossing the criticism Wasserman Schultz had received from the Morning Joe co-host. Brzenzinski is quoted as saying that Wasserman Schultz “should step down” over her poor...

MSNBC on Friday used the unfolding shooting spree in Munich to bash the Republican Party and connect the GOP convention to it. Regarding terror, Daily Beast editor Christopher Dickey talked to Brian Williams and lectured, “What we're looking at now in Europe and, to some extent, at the Republican convention and in the discourse in the United States, is a lot of talk about war as if we're talking about a massive operation.” Dickey insisted that the terror threat not be overstated: “Yet we're often talking as if we're going to go to war with a billion Muslims. And I...

Watching MSNBC and CNN in their post-game analysis and they are saying that his speech is a warning of a "dark dystopian" America. A few of the commentators actually said "White Identity". I could not believe it. I was floored. They say that if you are in an argument and your opponent's only retort is that you are a racist (or sexist, etc), then the opponent has lost the argument. If that is the case, then Trump hit one out of the park. I was very impressed tonight. I did not expect that.

Warning, sensitive MSNBC viewers may want to look away. That’s essentially what Rachel Maddow told liberal watchers on Wednesday night before showing a picture of anti-Hillary Clinton buttons at the Republican convention. Considering the hateful rhetoric that’s come out of MSNBC for years, perhaps that viewer warning should have appeared in the past. The buttons included ones that read “Hillary for prison” and “Vote no to Monica’s ex-boyfriend’s wife in 2016.” Maddow informed viewers, “You may find it uncomfortable. And so, you may not want to look at this stuff. But these are some of the pins that are being...

CLEVELAND, OHIO - MSNBCÂ’s Chris Matthews kept it classy (I kid of course) in his commentary on Patricia SmithÂ’s address to the Republican National Convention. Smith is the mother of Sean Smith, one of four Americans who were killed in Benghazi by Islamic terrorists. Smith said that her son was wonderful, and she blames Hillary Clinton personally for his death. She also said that Hillary told her that a video was responsible for the attack. Matthews thought it was wrong for her to go up there on stage and tell lies about Hillary Clinton. He also said that it ruined...
