Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 I wager you have heard just about every conceivable explanation of what happened to Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. I have an explanation I’d like to share. I cannot prove that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 is missing because aliens abducted it. However, until proof of another explanation comes forward it is possible that is what happened.

CNN’s Don Lemon has been entertaining all sorts of theories about the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370, including the chance something “supernatural” happened, but on Wednesday night, he actually asked panelists about the possibility a black hole was involved. Lemon brought this up along with other “conspiracy theories” people have been floating on Twitter, including people noting the eerie parallels to Lost and The Twilight Zone, and wondered, “is it preposterous” to consider a black hole as a possibility? Mary Schiavo, a former Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Transportation, said, “A small black hole would suck in our...

Appearing on Fox & Friends last week, retired United States Air Force Gen. Thomas McInerney speculated that the missing Malaysian passenger airliner had been intentionally flown to South Asia where it could be used as a delivery vehicle for conventional or nuclear explosives by terrorist actors. On Tuesday, McInerney repeated that claim and said that the recent actions of the Israeli and American governments lent credence to that theory.

Cops find five Indian Ocean practice runways in MH370 pilot’s simulator, BH reportsInvestigators have discovered the runways of five airports near the Indian Ocean loaded into Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah’s home-made flight simulator, a Malay daily reported today. “The simulation programmes are based on runways at the Male International Airport in Maldives, an airport owned by the United States (Diego Garcia), and three other runways in India and Sri Lanka, all have runway lengths of 1,000 metres. “We are not discounting the possibility that the plane landed on a runway that might not be heavily monitored, in addition to the...

IN an age of constant information, the missing Malaysia Airlines flight 370 has been dubbed the biggest mystery in aviation history. A plane of its size has never dropped out of the sky. Or has it? In 2003, a Boeing 727 jet also disappeared. It was the largest aircraft to ever vanish without a trace. This plane, like MH370, had all the mod cons and was fitted with GPS. Is the missing 777 jet is equipped with phones? I’d bet it is. I’d assume cellular via satellite. With hundreds of persons onboard, why didn’t one person make a phone call? The plane did. It “pinged” at least one satellite for hours after other systems went dark. It appears to me someone forgot to shut that one system down or it was in a location it couldn’t be immediately accessed. and turned off. For Christ’s sake, as the World Trade Center towers were about to fall, people were calling out and sending video clips and photos via cell phone. When...

Although it has not been stated explicitly yet, there seems little doubt that Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 has crashed and probably with great loss of life. Rescue will inevitably turn into recovery - of wreckage and bodies - and the search for clues will begin. --SNIP-- So what might they look for? Weather can almost certainly be ruled out as a cause. Conditions have been described in different ways, but the consensus is that the aircraft was airborne in near-perfect flying conditions. This leaves just two main possibilities - catastrophic mechanical failure or an act of terrorism. Investigators will undoubtedly...
