Authorities say a pig found in a swimming pool at a home in Broward County, bleeding, while being harassed by two pit bulls has undergone emergency surgery. The Miami Herald reports Pembroke Pines police say the pig and the pit bulls got loose outside the home Friday evening. Police say they are now investigating whether to file criminal charges against an unidentified homeowner who owns all three animals. A half-naked knife-wielding man who chased a Miami police officer in Little Havana over the weekend died a day after being shot by Taser stun guns. State agents are now investigating the death of 52-year-old Maximo Rabasa, who had a history of psychiatric problems.
