During his eight years as Florida governor, Jeb Bush increasingly pushed for broader acceptance of immigrants living in the United States illegally, and disagreed with Florida voters and Republican leaders who opposed any expansion of such immigrants' rights, according to more than 350,000 emails received after public document requests.
On border security and deportations, the governor advocated "whatever it takes," but he also supported driver's licenses, in-state tuition and work visas for immigrants in the U.S. illegally.
The emails document Bush's exchanges with supporters, aides and citizens. Personal and political emails were excluded from the release.

Dear Governor,
I'm doing a story on this for tomorrow and I was hoping to get your reaction to Rep. Tancredo calling Miami a third world country. Ileana has suggested he come down for a visit and judge the city for himself.
Thanks

excerpt from http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=53023:
Tancredo was in South Florida joining the likes of media giants Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Ann Coulter at a four-day event called "Restoration Weekend" which concluded today. The gathering was hosted by the David Horowitz Freedom Center.
Tancredo pointed to Florida's largest city as an example of how the nature of America can be changed by uncontrolled immigration.
"Look at what has happened to Miami. It has become a Third World country," he said. "You just pick it up and take it and move it someplace. You would never know you're in the United States of America. You would certainly say you're in a Third World country."
Trump is looking better and better as the other members of the ‘sweet sixteen’ fire round after round into their collective feet.
But just remember, he's a conservative, 'cuz he said so.
And thats a promise.
Not the point. No is willing to risk getting beat up by Black Panthers voting for Bush only to see them never prosecuted under him.
Maybe people would brave it for an Abraham Lincoln who would save one from slavery, but not a Jeb. And that is the reality.
*none
No surname Jeb! is beyond reprehensible.
It will be funny when Trump asks Jeb about his defense of Miami as a sanctuary city for illegals.
Between Yeb Bush and Hillary, Hillary is the lesser evil.
She would have a much harder time getting Congress to pass the very same things that they would pass for Yeb Bush.
LOL.
A golden moment!
Thanks jimbo123.
Yeb Bush wants to turn the USA in North Mexico.
Once we abandon the rule of law, we will never get it back.
How about Sanctuary Cities for people who dont want to pay taxes?
Why is one group of illegals favored over other groups of illegals? Bank robbers, tax cheats and rapists have dreams too...
Doesn’t Jeb understand that? /s
Answer: They do not want to, simple as that! Most of the US government is in the back pockets of big corporations (crony chamber of Communist) and does not care what the American people think or demand of them!
It's all about the money. Trump is shaking that tree and the corporatist, RINO’s and socialist are scared to death of Trump who takes no money from them and apparently the NSA, homeland security, FBI. IRS etc, does not have anything on the Trump (yet).
Except for the part about conning conservatives into believing he stands with us.
It's good that some of the dwarfs are standing with Trump. But you know what? I'm not going to believe anyone of them who doesn't denounce Jeb as bad for the Republican Party and the ideals of its constituents.
I want to see Trump wipe the stage with Bush...
Bring it on.
Such a conservative governor!
******
Sanctuary cities: I never could understand why we have sanctuary cities for illegals. To me, it's like the inmates running the asylum.
Yes, it is time to make sanctuary cities a top presidential campaign issue. That is, it is time to get rid of them.
Bush sitting on his high perch never thought that he would have to answer to the common folk.
