A McDonald’s restaurant in Tennessee is showing its Christmas spirit with a painted nativity scene that has now gone viral. On Monday, Amy Basel posted a photo of a McDonald’s located in Spring Hill, TN with a nativity scene in between the messages “His name is Jesus” and “Rejoice” painted on the windows of the storefront.

McDonald’s settled a lawsuit filed by the Department of Justice. It's the Dollar Menu, take two. McDonald's hopes it has a catchy, new deal that will be as hugely popular as its Dollar Menu. Starting Jan. 4, the fast-food chain will launch the "McPick 2" menu, which will let customers pick two of the following items for $2: a McDouble, a McChicken, small fries and mozzarella sticks. McDonald's made a minor change to its Egg McMuffins, and sales of the sandwiches have exploded as a result. The company recently changed its recipe for the sandwiches to replace margarine with butter. Adding butter had an immediate impact, driving up sales of Egg McMuffins by double digits, executives said on an earnings call Thursday. "We are in the throes of a deep depression, and nothing is changing," one franchisee wrote in response to the survey by Nomura analyst Mark Kalinowski. "Probably 30% of operators are insolvent."

Since McDonald's launched an all-day breakfast menu last week, a number of their franchisees are not 'lovin' it' and say it has been a nightmare.
